Scott and EVERYONE at Toxic Monkey Tattoo are not only professional and very good at what they do, they are also genuinely good-hearted people. Here's my story: I am 46 years old and I got my first tattoo EVER at one of their flash days in April 2025. The experience was 10/10 and my beautiful line tattoo is perfect. Thank you, Zayne! On June 14 I went back for another. Understand that if you choose to go on a flash day, you may have to wait for a while. I was not listening to my body as I started to feel ill. I went inside (I had been waiting in line outside), and next thing I know, I had blacked out and fell exorcist-style to the ground, waking up (lying on my back half-in and half-out of the establishment). By the time I woke up, they had already called EMSA. Jennifer literally held my heavy-ass head in her lap until they arrived, and Ashley assured me that everything would be ok. Scott was lightning fast with the video footage for EMSA to watch so they could give me the best care. I went about my day (hospital gave me the all-clear, call it a miracle?), and I learned from my friends that the Toxic Monkey Tattoo employees continued to ask about updates throughout the day. They are even honoring my flash tattoo price for a future date since I didn't get my tattoo (although I did get a scraped-up knee, a ride in an ambulance, and a hospital bill). I suppose my story is unique and hope that no one ever has the exact same experience. But I'm definitely going back for that second tattoo and...

My daughter’s 28th birthday was a few weeks ago and she’s mentioned wanting to get another tattoo several times, I’ve also always wanted to begin a sleeve for myself and for various reasons I hadn’t. So we last minute we planned to spend her birthday evening together and scheduled our first tattoo together. We had the best night! We needed it. We had the best experience ever at Toxic Monkey Tattoo with Zayne Hoffman & James. They each went above and beyond to make sure we each were comfortable and happy with the process. They stayed late for us and adjusted to our chaotic schedules. Turns out my daughter knew James from her childhood and Zayne had done a previous tattoo on me a few years ago and I appreciated his honesty and willingness to stay late for me.
