Hop the Griffin Brew Pub and Wine Bar — Local services in Tulsa

I have no idea how in the world this bar has good reviews! The food, drinks AND service were the worst I've ever had! I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm upset I actually had to pay for what we got! When we walked in, I ordered water and waited for the menu. Ordered 2 different drinks off the specialty drink menu and nether had the ingredients to make their own drinks. Ordered a double Rum and Coke and my husband tried to order 2 beers, both also were sold out. After 15 minutes they brought us a beer, and Rum and coke with the soda completely flat. I was going to send it back, but the waitress never came back to ask, so I decided to just shine it. The food finally came, I ordered a buffalo chicken salad. The chicken was not fully cooked, it was chewy and pink. My husband's side of okra was mushy and they forgot his ranch. Not sure what a woman across from me ordered, but I physically watched he take her first bite and push her plate over in disgust. I have hesitated to post a review for Hop the Griffin because I don’t really want to share the location of this gem. I realize that this is a pretty selfish standpoint and I owe it to the owners to let all of you know about this pub. I say pub, because it’s as close to a pub as you are likely to find in Tulsa. They have darts, they have a pool table, they have shuffleboard, although the shuffleboard table is temporarily out of order. Do not come here if you want to eat quickly and leave. Do not come here if you are looking for a restaurant experience. Hop the Griffin is a pub. The beer is brewed there and it is excellent. They also have a first rate wine selection. The food is really good, especially the chili, the charcuterie boards, and the street tacos. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. It’s become our go to local. No cap, this place slaps—Hop the Griffin is total mood in Tulsa! Walked in and got major cozy-chic vibes—cute spot, vibey lighting, staff so friendly they low-key made my day. They brew all the beers on site, and tbh, the rotating taps are always delivering something new and chef’s kiss. They’ve got cocktails and wine too, so it’s not just beer gang—perfect for anytime.
