Ordered a custom conversation sofa two months prior to our moving date. Was told by John, the manager, that the sofa and ottoman were in stock at another location and would arrive in 3 to 6 weeks. While he was writing up the ticket I went upstairs in the store and found the exact ottoman on sale for one-fourth the price he had quoted for a new one. He never suggested that we could look upstairs. Either he wanted to sell the ottoman at the higher price or he didn't have a clue what was available upstairs. I took the ottoman that day. We waited, made numerous calls, and even drove back to the store to see why the sofa had not arrived. Each time we were told a different story. No matter who we talked to we were given the run around. We would have just cancelled the order but had paid up front......stupid! When the sofa finally arrived four months later, we were highly disappointed with the quality. Now, after less than a year the sofa is a piece of junk! The stuffing on the sofa has separated and is all lumpy and very noticeably bunched up. This was NOT a cheap sofa. For the money it should have been much higher quality. Read moreSnow's is great. I bought a couch, recliner, storage ottoman, king mattress, and storage bed. They were doing a king for queen price on their mattresses, so that was awesome! They delivered the very next day and set everything up. The bed was missing the legs that go under the storage drawers to stabilize them, so they told me they'd get with the warehouse to get the legs.
It was the weekend, so Monday I called the store to confirm they were in the process of getting the legs. The girl that answered the phone was a little rude at first, but then I spoke with the service guy, and he was very nice. He let me know they just had a delivery driver quit, so it would probably be faster for me to go pick up the legs myself. He brought the legs to the store, and I picked them up the next day. They were just little legs that twist on under the drawers, so it was no big deal.
Overall, my experience with Snow's was good. They had the best prices on what I was looking for, and I looked at so many of the big name stores around Tulsa. The young girl behind the counter could be nicer to customers on the phone, but she was very nice in person. I will definitely be shopping there again...
Read moreThey sell cheap junk that looks nice!! We bought what seemed like a beautiful farm house table here. After the first few uses, the chairs had major indents in them from the seams of the pants we wore. After 2 weeks, the seat part of the chairs looked awful. So I called the warranty guy. He said that it was normal wear and tear and to be expected from a soft pine wood. He also suggested that it goes along with the over all look of a rustic table. There was no way that they would let me exchange or return the item. What a RIP off!! This table will be junk in no time at all since the wood is so soft. It looks beautiful but is as cheaply made as a person can image. What terrible customer service as well. I am extreamely disappointed in this company who sells expensive furniture but does not stand behind what they sell?! They sell junk and know it, that's why they wont stand behind it. What it boils down to is that it's terrible workmanship. Who would use soft pine on a seat knowing that it will get majorly dented from any and all use? The store knows it too, that's why I was told that it was expected from a soft pine. Guess everyone...
