OARS Computers — Local services in Tulsa

These guys have been my new go to guys for quite some time now. I havnt baught anything from them but when it comes to computer repair I think they are number 1. I honestly used to go to wholesale computer supply and I hated that place but I thought there was no alternative.. True story, my gpu stopped working one day and computer wouldn't boot. I took it to wholesale computer supply.. It's always that blonde hair dude feeding everyone lies. Anyway they check my comp. He tells me my motherboard is shot that I need a new one and I told him that I dnt think so, there was no reason my mobo could have gone bad overnight and when I had it off. He said yeah its bad and he can get me set up with a new one we have the ones you need right here for so many $$$. I said no and told them to give me my comp back and left.. I found Oars and went there.. No joke but the younger dude that works in there I can't remember his name but he drives a nice truck now. Anyway that guy took my computer and later that day he called and said my computer was ready. The problem was that the gpu driver needed to be updated. So you see now the shady crap from wholesale computer supply. I thanked that dude so much and from that day forward he has been so helpful even just asking questions about what would be good upgrades or just talking about computers in general. FYI if you purchase new upgrades yourself they will help you get them installed. ALSO!! I think this is,very important! I felt like i didnt know much about computers when i showed up to this guy and not one time did i feel like i was being taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge. So you noobies out there that need help and are affraid of getting taken advantage of go to OARS!!! I wouldn't leave this review if I didn't think they are worthy to hold up to my review. Accidentally happened to be in the neighborhood & spotted them while I had my old tablet with me for just that purpose- So I popped in ... while there the man behind the counter and his kindly assistance helped me with out trying ANY "hard sells" (I was actually shopping for a laptop to replace my tablet) They sterred me in the RIGHT direction for ME, not THEM. Very informative completely understood that we laymen don't do the jargon, and didn't try to force me to buy something I didn't NEED. I got some malware on my computer. I ordered an antivirus off the internet and then I change my mind and told him I didn't want it cause it was LifeLock, what I did not want. I wanted something that makes sure no malware gets on there and that wasn't it I suppose that's what they told me so I asked for them to quit charge my Visa card. Of course then when I turn my computer off and turn it back, somehow my computer got locked up. Took it to oars, works great now. They had to erase the whole hard drive.
