My bubbly 3 year old fur baby Spent one night there and he was terrified and exhausted when I came to pick him up, I had to carry him out because he was so exhausted. They claim he got away from a slip knot during potty time and got into dog pee and poop! My dog weigh 6 pounds and had his own retractable leash available as they require. When I came to pick him up, they released him to me wet after trying to rush and bathe him in shampoo that has his coat looking terrible!!! I guess they weren’t expecting me to come pick him up so early!!! I had to ask them to go back and dry him because it was super cold outside. Then, I realized he had a limp in his leg and spoke to the manager. The manager said that he may have injured his muscle during the incident. The fact that no one called me to inform me of this and to try and clean him before I got there and send him out wet is very below satisfaction!!!! I asked if they had cameras so I could see what really happened to him and why he appeared so exhausted… they said there’s no cameras there. I posted a video of him limping and his fur the same day with recent video of him the day I bathed him before the day I dropped him off. My fur baby has been with me since 8weeks old and he’s well taken care of and is apart of my family. I’m so saddened by this. It took him a few days to act somewhat normal again mentally. I gave a 2 stars instead of 1 because the manager was very understanding...

My wife and I dropped our two small dogs off at The Pawms on Friday (February 7, 2025) to head out of town for the weekend. We are extremely picky about boarding our two girls simply because of the horror stories we’ve heard over the years. Our dogs are our babies… and up until this particular weekend, we had thankfully never had a bad experience with ANY boarding facilities or pet resorts. That streak ended today with The Pawms. I picked my dogs up this morning (February 10, 2025) and I am absolutely disgusted. Not only did they NOT receive their baths, but they both REEK of urine and have feces matted in their fur, which I can ASSURE you was not the case upon dropping them off. I’m not saying this place has to be perfect, because animals in general can be messy, but for almost $250 for 3 days, you’d think they would give people a little more peace of mind.

Oh and we never received the first picture or video of our girls the whole time we were gone, so if you want to check on your animals while you’re out of town, you just have to keep calling because they likely will not answer when you call. Don’t believe me? Try to call before dropping your dogs off and test this for yourself.

I’m disgusted. This place is great as long as you don’t really care about the quality of the facility. Pretty on the outside, but BE...

It was mine and my husband’s first time to board our 5 month old golden retriever puppy, Waffles. I had first time puppy momma nerve’s for sure šŸ˜… and a lot of questions asked about the process. From the first phone call I made, to scheduling his stay and picking him up, was an outstanding experience. The receptionist over the phone was very helpful and informative. Made it clear and direct on what all I need to do and didn’t hesitate to answer all my questions. We decided to do an additional doggy day care while he stayed, to keep him entertained since he is such a social dog. We also added a bath for his last day. I was so excited to see our sweet puppy after being away for three nights. We walked in to the front desk to two smiling faces and such a clean facility. This truly was a doggie resort. The employees seemed to genuinely love taking care of your fur baby and my dog was so happy and smelling fresh and soft when he came out. He also slept so well that night ( from having, I’m sure, a fun time playing with the other dogs ). Lastly, when booking online I really appreciated how detailed the questions were. Seemed like they wanted to be sure to provide a home like stay for your dog. If you’re looking for a place to take your dog that cares I highly recommend Pawms Pet Resort and Waffles does too! He...

Luna and I love The Pawms Tuscaloosa! From the minute we stepped into the front door, we were greeted by such an open and friendly staff! They really take their time to know about each owner and dog and really treat your pet like one of their own! The Dog Daycare is well worth it if you have an energetic dog that needs to burn off energy or if you are looking to get your dog more socialized! Your puppy is always returned back to you by the knowledgeable staff that always updates you on how they did throughout the day. Also there are tons of planned events so your dog does not get bored. Luna also gets groomed at The Pawms. They have experienced groomers who do an awesome job! I have a doodle and was worried about her trim but they did an awesome job with keeping her coat nice and neat and also well trimmed! Luna and I love this place!!!
