I’m a California native but currently live in Colorado. I flew in to visit my best friend and her children for the weekend. I love checking out new shops and cute boutiques in the area, so I jumped at the opportunity to go while the kids were still in school. We ended up here at Johnny Jeans; the women were very catty and didn’t even say hello when we walked in; they just looked us up from head to toe. We quickly looked around. We weren’t impressed, and as we left, we got this look of we knew you couldn’t afford this. the three lady’s in the front behind the register made it very uncomfortable; they looked almost at us in disgust. We thanked them and left. My best friend wanted to go back inside and give them a piece of her mind because even though I looked rough (I just flew in at 6 am, so I left Denver at 3:30 am), I had money, I was not broke, and it blew her mind that people treat people like they’re trash based off appearances when they don’t even know them. I thought the place was really cool because of the fashionable clothes, jewelry and accessores are so unique.
