I have been friends with Kanan Jewelry for two decades…and counting, and they will always be part of my life’s inner circle.

Kanan Jewelry is that place where you can go and visit with your dogs, have a cup of coffee, and share a vision you have been mulling over in your own mind. You have five family rings and you can’t wear them all, so you want to recreate them as one ring, and you do. It’s a ring you saw in the Sundance catalogue, yet your finished product is so much more spectacular, because it has history woven within it. Years later, you’ve changed your mind and you want to recreate that ring as a beautiful bracelet that you saw at Tiffany. And then, years after that, you want to meld that bracelet together with another bracelet that was birthed from a stash of other gold pieces. Now you have this perfect cuff bracelet that sparkles like the night’s sky, and your wonderful friend has ensured that it fits you just so. Every time you look at it, you see your GrandMothers' engagement rings from the 30s, sparkling alongside a ring that your Father gifted your Mother when you were born. There is energy in that same cuff from rings gifted by friends, and even a commitment ring you gifted yourself over the years.

James helped me select a style/theme of engagement ring and crafted a custom ring for my wife that stuns to this day. For my wedding ring, I had a very specific design in mind. James provided precise renderings with measurements that gave me a clear view of what the completed project would look like.
