Bring back Lisa... The lady running the place now is rude and snippy. Not the friendly place it used to be. Lisa was always smiling and had a warm welcome, made an effort with you. The current management seems like she could care less about the place.. Makes me sad that this place was taken over by someone like this.
She was rude to me last time I was in there, and rude to my wife the last two times she tried to make an order from there for the company she works for. She put up such a fuss about an open ended 15 sandwich order (A "Whenever you can make it" situation, not a time crunch) and my wife got the response of "You need to give us more notice" from her... Well lady, how much notice do you need for "Whenever"? They ended up ordering from chick-fil-a instead of this local business.
Would love to support them because the food is pretty great, but the management's bitterness spoils the taste of the food in my opinion.
Lisa!...

The staff was friendly and helped out. What I canāt get over is how rundown and dirty the place looks. It definitely needs a facelift. Especially during this pandemic, cleanliness is a major factor for me. Just get some new flooring and put some better lighting in the joint and itād pay huge dividends. My last butcher set the bar fairly high though. Check out Wassiās Meat Market in Florida.
Update: the ground beef was meh but the ribeyes were great! Just the marbling I like and cut at the perfect thickness. Definitely adding a star but stand by my original statement that the store needs an update in aesthetics and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA great hole in the wall kind of place. The staff is friendly - quiet - but helpful. I get their made in house Italian sausage and brats and they are super good. Their ground chuck is also amazing. We've had their deli sandwiches in the past and they were amazing, but now with the whole Boar's Head controversy with unclean facilities we don't partake currently.
They have bench seats to eat your sandwiches, a small grocery section, and there's always some little trinkets and things to purchase too. I'd love it if they added some more lighting and really put a lot into making it a spectacular little market - it would be a great place to go to get local produce, meats, and bakery items if they went for it.
Overall, I recommend. It's a great lil...
