Brannen Motor Group — Local services in Unadilla

Haven't visited Brannen, but know enough about Crown Victorias to see that this is a literal Stealership, and not a proper company that operates off the principles of supply and demand.

The median Fair Market Value (FY 2018) for Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors in the model years of 2010 and 2011 is between $4,000 and $6,000. (They're much cheaper in rural auctions where there are rarely any online promotions or readily-available records.) That's accounting for the average mileage of 75,000. This is an estimation I arrived at after examining twenty different auctions in 2018 across the United States where those vehicles were sold.

Even if some of Brannen Motors' CVPIs are in the sub-50,000 mileage range, their prices are extortionate and clearly aimed at municipal customers who have more money than sense (ergo, police departments, counties, and states).

The ONLY justification Brannen has for the five figure price tags is entirely contingent on whether or not they have actually conducted a thorough reconditioning on the vehicles to make them like-new. Which I have serious doubts about.

Not to mention, as of this writing, two of their 2010 and 2011 CVPIs are priced at $15,000+, do not have power seats or powered lumbar controls, and one of them has no traction control. It's as if the original buyers decided to get cruise control, but not all the other comfort-oriented options at the factory.

If any administrators from a purchasing department of a city, PD, or other agency are looking at this, I will warn you: If you are going to pay $15,000 for a used squad car, make sure you also demand that they fully recondition it at no additional cost, and guarantee that work. That is the only way to justify such a pricetag. Otherwise, walk away and look for a shop that specializes in reconditioning Crown Vics. There's one in California...

I have been doing business with Brennan Motor Company for about thirty years .. Its hard to believe I am old enough to have been driving that long. The service team are nothing less than professional and have helped me out lots through the years. The service team also has done a very good job for my Dad, who has had me bring in trucks and pick up parts for his construction company when I worked for him. The most impressive thing about this dealership is Clint Brannen himself. I have always looked up to Mr. Brannen who helped me no matter the circumstances, since I was sixteen. I am not a VIP and not the biggest customer he has, but I always feel like it whenever we have spoken.
