Called at 6:27pm from Google.. Lady said she was running a "special" on new tires for $350. I need a regular trailer tire, "used"...she laughs (they hate to sell you used tires.. always trying to go with the HIGHEST PRICES Instead of giving options and letting the"customer" decide.. People prey on consumers instead of servicing them) and say's $250 for a USED TRAILER tire. Usually these tires are $75-$125 depending on how good they are.
This isn't a roadside call, this is a service shop. Even roadside don't charge that much..I asked how much TOTAL.. The lady stated $367 "roughly".. I asked for a breakdown..
$65 for Tire mount(usually$40-$50) $20 something for tire disposal. Not even sure Where tht rest of the month came from but it came up to $367 roughly.
I was still trying to negotiate she says, as I hear a man screaming in the background, "well we're leaving. That's fine." So she then says they're closing. Granted it was 6:30pm but either you're open or closed..
Truck arrives in 15 minutes.. They tell us we need 2 tires and he's not doing just 1... Well all I asked for is 1.. I didn't ask you for 2.. just out of curiosity, how much for " 2 USED TIRES"..
The People quoted me $650 like they were doing me a favor and giving me a deal.
This is the reason carriers are going out of business.. Between The brokers and service industry, these people are shark's and Prey on the Trucks. They know you're trying to keep moving.
We politely left and limped to another Tire shop before I get rapped here..
2 used tires WITH tire mount is usually $310.
They may not get as much business so they're overcharging customers to to stay in business in the name of "helping people"..
Way...
Read moreWe had a tire start shredding right by the exit 122 on our way back from evacuating hurricane Milton we thought we had help because a white tire repair service truck actually stopped to help us out.. however we didn't have our wheel lock key for our wheels. So he couldn't remove it we ended up riding up the shoulder of the road to the exit the shop is definitely like a Mom and pop's place but it's right off the exit in Unadilla it's not fancy but from what I seen the gentleman running is fair and kind but above all very good at what he does. But before all that didn't know what I was gonna do with my situation alot of the tire places was closed and I was too the point of tears calling around trying to figure stuff out between him and the lovely lady running the call number we was back on the road within an hour and he was able to break the wheel lock to change the tire with minimal damage on the rim . He said I was lucky on...
Read moreDO NOT TRUST these guys. They will try to take you for everything you have. Not only that, they are CLEARLY racist. They don't hide it.
If I could give a negative 5 star review, I would. My experience with was nothing short of appalling. Not only did they attempt to cut corners and overcharge me for simple repairs, but the blatant lack of professionalism was shocking. The service felt like a complete scam, with inflated prices and shoddy work meant to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.
Worse yet, the underlying racism I encountered was deeply disturbing. It's unacceptable in any situation, let alone when you're paying for a service. No one should have to endure such treatment. I would never trust this company again, and I highly advise anyone considering their services to...
