Would give zero stars if I could. To make things clear, I was a consistent customer at one point and thought that they were a nice alternative to World of Beverages given how much closer they are to my home. However, the turning point came for me when one of THEIR employees mistakenly combined my order with another customer's. The cashier showed me my purchase which was a bottle of whiskey and placed it into a bag that was already there at the register. I arrived home only to discover that they included two bottles of eggnog. Given that it was the holidays I thought nothing of it. Well, apparently they didn't as they next time I visited they decided to charge me for the aforementioned bottles. I explained that the cashier was the one who made the mistake in that she only showed me my bottle of whiskey. The manager decided to step in, try and intimidate me and just charge me. They acknowledged their mistake, know that I was a regular and still made me feel unwelcomed. Even after I explained how it wasn't my fault. Needless to say, that was my last time going there and I am happy to say that World of Beverages has treated me so much better. World of Beverages has a more welcoming and spacious atmosphere, a bigger selection, and constant specials on their items. Hey Red Oak, if you want to retain customer loyalty then maybe you shouldn't make your customers pay for your employees mistakes. Hope it was worth losing a consistent customer over two...
Read moreIf I could give it a zero... I would. Extremely unprofessional. We visited this store, on the way to a gathering and upon entering we went to the back section to try to get Hennessey. They kept this item on rather tall shelves, but due to my significant other being rather tall he reached and grabbed it. However, there was another customer standing there needing an item and he asked my significant other to get it. As he reaches for the item on the shelf, the store attendants began yelling telling him the items are at the front of the store. May I mention there is no sign to state or say this. He places the item back on the shelf and a man who appears to be the manager tells them to stop yelling & that we can take the item off the shelf, it is okay. We follow directions however and get in line to get the item. As we get the the front the clerk who was yelling (a woman) has the worst attitude in the world, she's rushing us and rolling her eyes as if we are inconveniencing her. I would not recommend this store and highly recommend they work on their customer...
Read moreOne of the few places we can find quart sized bottles of Hennessey lol don't know if I should be telling everyone. This my spot lol. I feel safe going into the store. There are not any bystanders standing around outside the store. There is plexiglass between you and the cashier but its always there for their safety not covid. There is one door in and out that is not accessible. The store is not handicapped accessible. There are bottles and boxes stacked as to if you were in a wheelchair I believe you would knock everything over. This is a cash and...
