After going to SIX other recommended Jewelers for a custom platinum three stone engagement ring I finally was told from my close friend that I have to go to Uniontown and talk with Brandon Katzeff at Joyce’s.

To give you some background on me… I am the most analytical, neurotic, and look for perfection with anything I buy. On top of that I come from an Italian family who has a slight obsession with Jewelry and diamonds so going into my exploration for the perfect engagement ring I knew I had to knock this one out of the park.

So after being told from my good friend I reluctantly drove 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh and instantly fell in love with Joyce’s Jewelry.

The overall store front and inside is very high class and beautiful. Brandon walked me through in detail all aspects of diamonds and metals and answered a few dozen random questions from me.

The diamonds’ Brandon helped me pick were un-beatable from quality, brilliance, cut, fire, and color compared to the ‘major’ Pittsburgh Jewelers AND at an unbeatable price!

Not only are the diamonds perfect, but the custom setting Brandon put together looks better than any three stone ring my fiancé and I could ever have pictured! Every time we go somewhere she is constantly receiving complements from friends, family, and even strangers! A lot of people continue to drool over it after seeing it over ten times!

On top of the ring itself Joyce, Brandon, and David have become great friends. Every time my fiancé and I stop by we are treated as family, which can’t be found anywhere else!

I have sent many of my colleagues, family, and close friends to Joyce’s (most of which have family or close friends that are Jewelers) and everyone I have sent who has been in the market has thanked me over and over for their experience and magnificent piece(s) of Jewlery from Joyce’s!

We recently got to meet Brandon and visit the store to pick out our wedding bands! The store is gorgeous. 5-star selection and personalized service. My fiancé and I went in with no idea as to what kind of bands we wanted. But Brandon showed us lots of beautiful options and talked us through all of our questions and considerations. We’re even more excited to say our I do’s! Oh! And they also cleaned our rings and resized my engagement ring all within our visit.

Joyce’s Jewelry is an absolute gem. I found this shop by word of mouth. I am from Atlanta and work in the Ohio Valley. I had been looking for someone to make an engagement ring for 7-8 months. I did a ton of research on diamonds, quality, value, etc. Almost every place I went to tried to screw me on the diamond. They would set up the gallery as such that you saw the diamond at its artificial best. They would show me diamonds I value at maybe $500-$1200, and charging $5000-10,000 for them. If I found a place that was halfway decent they could make the ring I wanted. Brandon at Joyce’s took time to confirm my research in diamonds. He showed his true passion for jewelry and enlightened me so much on diamond quality. He was not afraid to take the diamond outside and show how it performs under normal conditions. My fiancé and I have been engaged for 2 years. She has only cleaned it one and it still shines and sparkles like it did on the showroom floor. It is unreal how much you will notice the quality of cut in diamonds from Joyce’s compared to anyone else. We went with a 1.3ct diamond and it looks BIGGER and was way more FIRE(not even comparable) than many of her friends who have 1.5-2ct diamonds. We still take time to admire the ring from time to time because it is unreal how much it catches your eye. His craftsmanship as a goldsmith is exceptional. The band I wanted has a unique design with difficult filigree. Both the engagement ring and wedding band are hand made and absolutely incredible. They fit very well and look stunning. Over Joyce’s is down to earth, honest, responsive, precise craftsmanship, and relatively quick. I wish they were in Atlanta. I doubt I will ever use another Jeweler for anything.
