I am very upset about this schooling for my daughter. First of all we asked all year about a payment plan to no end and never received anything back from them and had nobody to make arrangements with so I had it in writing. No help either for grants as they didn’t have a financial aid person until I believe a month ago. The owner of this place seems like she only cares about money. They also told my daughter she couldn’t walk with her class on graduation because she was a half hr short I believe a month ago. Than today when she went in to setup to take her boards to get her license so she can start working in her career she was told that her schooling must be paid in full before she can take boards. Also she was informed today that she could have walked with her class on graduation that she was good. Guess what you ruined my daughter’s graduation and now you’re messing with her career. So if you want your child to succeed in life don’t enroll her here to be let down by them. We also drove her 45 mins each way through snow and bad weather to be there to get an education. I'm currently in the welding program so that's all I can really count on. The school is overall decent and the tuition is about average for the program. They give you a toolkit and basic welding gear but if at all possible avoid it. The jackets burn right through and the gloves will wear out in a month and they're severely overpriced especially since you're doing overhead there and have no access to the property safety gear. It's a Pearson view testing center, they post almost no days of availability for students to schedule testing. I called and spoke to Carla and who in turn asked Terry and they claim to have no influence over scheduling availability at their site and that it's done through Pearson. Having worked with other facilities, you set availability at your site and that reflects on the Pearson side and allows people to request that date.
