Phil's Corner Store — Local services in Uniontown

Phil’s hoagies are awesome. Whenever I’m up that way (Uniontown) and I got the extra money and have an uncontrollable hunger for a DAMN DAMN DAMN good hoagie, I stop here at Phil’s corner store for one or two. The girls make it fresh the way you want right there in front of you. The prices are comparable to other places around and the taste,freshness and I don’t know what else makes them just off the hook. So if you haven’t had a hoagie from here, you have no clue what you’re missing!! So what are you waiting for? Get here get one and then you’ll understand!! Tried calling the place for an hour to place an hoagie order and the phone kept saying busy signal. I drove there to place the order instead and the guy working asked immediately when I walked in, if I called to place an order and I said I TRIED. He said if I didn’t call to place the order he only had enough for the 3 people waiting in line because they ran out of bread. I was visiting from out of town and hoping to get some Phil’s before leaving. There really needs to be a better way to order ahead! It’s a very disorganized system. Not going to lie, the hoagies are a really good value for the price. What absolutely is horrible is the ordering que. Numerous times I've waited 20-30 minutes for 1 hoagie while those ahead of me have ordered up to 12. Enough is enough. I'm fed up with waiting to buy lunch only to watch them to immediately make hoagies for call-ins while I patiently waited. Never again. I'm done patronizing this business.
