Maybe I have suspicious vibes or something, but I have gotten treated rudely or dismissively by the staff here everytime I've been there, and after today, I will not be giving this place another chance.
I was confronted by the cashier the moment I walked into the store due to having an electric scooter in hand (I don't own a car because I'm broke lol). I smiled and said hello, prepared to ask if bringing the scooter in was ok and/or if there was somewhere I could stash it while I shopped, but froze when the employee immediately began raising her voice at me, asking me "What are you doing with that?!". Then, she started quite literally yelling at me to "Put it down!", and so I immediately turned around and walked out the door to avoid causing a scene. She continued yelling at me as I left despite me having said nothing to instigate the situation.
I'm frankly very unsetted and embarrassed by the whole thing. It's frustrating, as I would love to be able to support a local thrift...
Read moreVery rude!!! If you own a cat don't call for pick up. There one driver is allergic and will raise hell. Oh and make sure you dust before invited them in to your home because the one lady will insult you. And they like to talk about peoples living arrangements to other customers. Planet green were a small town which everyone knows everyone. And people talk. If you have a problem the way elderly people live maybe you shouldn't offer pickup. It's a shame because we needed a thift store since goodwill shut down....
