Sanjha Bazaar — Local services in Upper Darby

I go there off and on depending upon if Im in the area. Its a decent store with lot of desi grocery items but prevalently Indian more than Pakistani. They have recently added halal butcher shop and am glad to report that it was fresh and well packaged. The butcher is on the quiet side and at times comes across rude but gets the job done and thats all that matters. Wish the place was bigger, more open and the check out area less congested. They usually have only 1 person on check out so if u are here on a busy weekend be prepared to stand in the line for 10-15 minutes. During Ramzan, this year ordered chicken pizza, chat and samosas for masjid Iftari. They were fresh and great, ready on time to be picked up 10 minutes...

Me and my family have been coming here for years. Every single time they are extremely rude and unhelpful. I have never written a google review, nor have we ever complained to them. Their behavior is crazy to me. It may be because I was raised here and i’m used to American hospitality. But the way they speak to my mother with such disrespect, I can’t stand it. We come here out of necessity due to the lack of halal butcher shops. The place is great, the staff is lacking on many levels. We get what we need but with the most, and I mean the most, unpleasant...

The best Indian place around. Very clean and the owner is good too. Recently they opened the fish and meat store inside. The price of fish and meat are very reasonable and fresh too. I visit this place almost every weekend.

Things to be improved Price can be more competitive Increase the varieties of brands(like I did not find the Deep's Pickles over there) Stock of fresh vegetables...
