See Ya At The Beach Vacation Rentals — Local services in Upper Grand Lagoon

This is both a 1 and a 5 star review, read on. I am an owner who used Them to, as they call it , “manage” my property. After 3 years of using another company that charged too high of a percentage (50 percent is high, but in hindsight was cheap by comparison to these people). In the first year my rentals dropped by 76 percent but later I learned, they had rented the property but pocketed the money. Roger, the owner, is a nice older guy with money, who is just blindsided by his staff, who steal the owners beddings, kitchen supplies, and even tv’s and building materials, then say it was a bad tenant, but never fix it and never pay for it, and never remove the money from an alleged deposit nor do they ever, replace it. This includes doors to rooms. Doors. Not little stuff. Beds, doors, microwaves. So as for the owners, if you want to talk to a good guy, call Roger, he is a good guy, but he is oblivious to the money being stolen out from under him and most importantly, his clients, and his resulting damaged reputation being caused by Teresa Z. And her constituents..... however for the five star side of the review, if you’re a no good dead beat, who wants a good deal, wants to take advantage of people, wants to steal stuff out of the properties without recourse, these are good people for you to rent from, in all likely hood you will get a cheap price because they are pocketing the money and not telling the owner it’s rented, and whatever you damage they won’t fix, or if they charge you I’m sure it will be minimal, because they aren’t going to repair it anyway. Good luck but in my all too knowledgeable opinion, the Bates motel offers more trustworthy people and...

I give the condo itself 4 stars but the building itself 3. This was a ladies trip and we were so excited to be away from our normal life for the week. We wanted a stress free, relaxing, fun in the sand and sun time. Lisa was GREAT!! She responded quickly and was very helpful. The condo itself was nice. When we got to the building to check in we couldn’t find a cart anywhere. It took us almost an hour and a trip to every floor of the parking deck to finally find one. That was very stressful. The parking deck is extremely small and the parking spaces are just as small. We didn’t move the vehicle for several days because of the stress trying to find a parking space. The parking deck doesn’t go around each floor nor is there signs of the dead end. Cars got backed up and there was no way to turn around if there wasn’t any open spots. Very frustrating! The cleaning person didn’t clean the hall bathtub so we had to clean it. There were several things of trash under the master bed. The ice machine in the freezer made ice VERY slowly. I would think as much as you pay for this place it would include beach service (chairs & umbrella) each day but it doesn’t. The elevators were very slow but they were clean. Very disappointed with See Ya At The Beach Rentals. I called to book a three bedroom condo for my family of 9 and was successful with the reservation. At the time of booking the representative stated she would send us two emails, the receipt of payment and confirmation. We never received either one. All weekend I tried calling and the phone was unanswered. I left messages and no one called me back. The following Monday, I called again to check the status of the emails only to find out that the condo that I booked was reserved for another group and that I was moved to another unit that did not have enough sleeping occupancy to fit my family. The rental agency did not notify us about the move nor tried to accommodate our family with a larger unit.

The representative canceled our reservation upon my request and left us with no options to rebook anywhere else. Very disappointing and caused a lot of extra work to find somewhere else.

I am very unhappy about how this happened and the poor communication that See Ya At the Beach provided.
