This is a real jewelry store, and it's absolutely amazing! My daughter and I recently inherited lots things and were trying to find a place to sell it quickly, as we've limited time to clear out an entire estate. We gathered some things, including a bunch of jewelry, and headed out to find a pawn shop or whatever. As luck would have it, the two closest ones were unexpectedly closed, but as good fate would have it, Maxwell and Co. Jewelry was open! I had originally thought maybe this was strictly a place to sell gold or silver and be done. I did some research though, and learned it was owned by actual Jewelers who make real jewelry, as well as buying it, and that it was super great. So, we headed to Leola, and BAM! third time was a charm!! It's a beautiful shop, clean and cozy, uniquely decorated, and a plethora of jewelry. Some traditional, some gorgeous original designs, some high end timepieces, it's an Easteregg. Truly. You have GOT to see this place! And I don't have much experience with selling stuff, I was so nervous, but put at ease instantly. He was informative, honest, (because I thought some of the stuff was junk) knowledgeable and talented. And so fair, the amount he gave us for what we brought, I could not believe it! He also took time to help me examine jewelry from a family estate and establish value and fair trade in.
