This place is a complete s show. They do have overnight parking. I suggest you use it and wake up real early to walk back to the gate. There will be a real long truck line and a standing line. Try not to get ran over playing frogger to get to the gate as trucks are flying past you to jocky for position. You'll get a pager. The first time it goes off you now have the privilege to try your luck on the other side of the building and weave in and out of trucks parked all in the way. Lots of honking, yelling, and drivers standing around in committees discussing how horrible their experience has been here and how they will never come back if they can help it. Find a place to park and may the odds be in your favor on that journey. If I had to do it over again I would wait on that. Because, as they will tell you, there will normally be another truck in your door. You'll get a 2nd buzz to let you know your door is clear. When you finally do get to a door you are more than likely going to sit there 4+ hours so have your snacks and beverages ready. I was there from 9 to about 330. Wait wait kids, the fun doesn't stop there! You'll get a green light and a final buzz to let you know you can leave the dock. My suggestion here would be to go ahead and repark up at the front and not go out the gate just yet because you are probably going to still have pallets of product on your trailer. THIS PLACE IS NOTORIOUS FOR REJECTING PARTIALS OF LOADS. And for petty reasons. So this way you can at least ask the guard on your way out the gate, who will not tell you otherwise, why you just became fortunate enough after all the 5 previous gates of hell today, to get to now figure out what to to with the rest of all this sht. Hopefully it's not a Friday or youll be like me. Sitting here Saturday morning making no money, hoping beyond hope for a load out before Monday. Stay far away from this place. You've...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHORRIBLE set up by this Costco DC. Itās like going to the Dr. office itās so overbooked! This was my first and LAST time here and Iāve been to most of them. You can stage āanywhereā? What the heck? I didnāt understand until I tried to get to my dock⦠I was staged on a dock that had someone in it⦠ok maybe thatās just weird wording from the guard shack employee⦠but she said I could stage in the usual spot or go around to the back where my door was. I staged in the regular area. So buzzer sounded as usual, different door than first assigned, took pictures to cya, and when I round the corner of the building dead stop. Why you say? Because there are 6 trucks across and 2 deep staging in the middle of their drive area, with only a narrow way around for BOTH directions of travel! Fuel truck filling their day cabs so Tight maneuvering and itās a free for all people! ZERO etiquette! So channel your inner Mad Max or Furiosa (KIDDING!) Also the amount of trucks Parked in the exit lanes is CRAZY! Iāll be adding pictures! I would give this place 0 stars but the woman at the guard building was nice, itās not her fault this place is run so poorly! Do Better Costco!!! We all know you can, contact Sumner, SLC, Morris, Monroe, Tolleson, Dallas, Mira Loma, or Tracy⦠any of these Costco DCs can tell you how it SHOULD Be Done! (Been to 7 out of the 10 and this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGrocery Delivery: Not bad overall. Check in with guard house in the left lane, either you get immediate dock assignment or you need parked in the lot to the left and check back in with the guard to get a dock assignment/pager. Once assigned, drive around the right side of the warehouse to the back to the docks. If you are assigned a door # along with #2, you are next in line for that door. Once the first truck leaves, you can back in. Warehouse prefers you, if waiting for your door, to pull forwards into the space directly across from the dock you are assigned to and open your trailer doors. Pulling into the waiting area can be impossible if the trucks on either side of your spot are not parked in their lines, crooked. Can park out in the open, might have to move if Costco/yard driver needs to get through. Pager will go off when 1st truck and it will go off again when you are unloaded then proceed to guard shack with doors open and guard will give back the paperwork along with the Costco receiver sticker. Overnight parking: Turn right out of driveway, go down the road to the turnaround and can park along the left side, 12 hour max parking. Holds apx 6-8 trucks. Also, can parking in staging area after 17:00 the day before your appointment. Can't park there again after delivery, must...
