Whistle Stop Restaurant and Saloon — Restaurant in New Market

Love the food here! It is always delicious and even my picky eater loves the chicken tenders. The chef is personable and is incredibly kind. I will visit Adventure Park USA just for this place (and then hit some games on the way out!). Considering that this is a restaurant inside of a theme park and the quality of food, the prices are very reasonable. The person who complained that soda was over $3 obviously hasn't been to a restaurant in a while. Traditional restaurants charge $3 for their soda. This restaurant is located in a theme park. So again, considering the location, the prices are incredibly reasonable. Come check this place out and play a virtual game...

Family ate here for lunch yesterday. We got a half rack of ribs that was dry with a tiny side of bbq. The fries and "queso" was old fries with cheese dip like from 7/11. Our soon didnt complain. About the pulled porrk sandwhich.They forgot the two slices of cheese, and only had pepperoni for the kids. That was also cold and very gross. For the type of food served and the price (about 50 bucks with 3 drinks), this place should be taken a good looking after by someone up the chain, above the manager, who...

I wish I could give it a higher score, but sadly I can't.

The problem is that it has gone downhill since it opened. Serving sizes have gotten smaller, food is only so-so, and they seem to be hit-or-miss on actually getting the order correct.

I still check back in every 6ish months hoping they improve though (since we enjoyed it so much in the beginning). If you are already at the park, it is probably worth it, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Fingers crossed that they find their...
