My experience at Paramount Ford Hyundai was simply amazing! Easiest and most enjoyable car-buying experience I have ever had. My original contact was with William Boston who very promptly replied to my emails in an friendly and professional manner. When I arrived at the dealership William was busy and could not help me but he did greet me and happily referred me to one of his co-workers, Brent Buff, who, like William was very friendly and professional. Brent was with me till I drove off in my New Ram 1500! (Well, new to me at least :p). It was a used 2011 Ram 1500 In near perfect condition. Brent wasted no time getting me the car fax while I searched over the truck for anything that I might have wrong. He gave me plenty of space and time and did not try to rush me at all. Brent spoke with my mother and I while we looked the truck over but never hovered behind us while we checked the truck put. We were given plenty of space. I really want to emphasize that, other dealers that we went to before we came to Paramount rushed us and followed us around making excuses for the vehicle. We found my Ram to be in near perfect condition for it's year and milage and Brent explained to me everything the service department had done to the truck when it arrived at their car lot. Brent was very informative and kind throughout the entire experience. As well as all the salesmen I encountered! We were even given some bottles of water while we waited on the financial paperwork. (It was pretty hot that day) MY ONLY COMPLAINT about my entire experience; When it came time for me to sign the papers it was brought up that I could purchase a warrenty for the used vehicle. After thinking about it and weighing my options i decided I did not want the warranty. The financial agent I worked with (I think is name was Marc) insisted the warranty should stay on the purchase agreement so that he could get the credit for the sale, that all I would have to do is tell the bank I didn't want the warranty and they would simply subtract the difference (naturally the bank would not do that and needed a new purchase agreement without the warranty on it). I may be getting it mixed up about how all that commission and stuff works. My problem was not the fact that he wanted credit. I understand that everyone's got a job to do and thats how those folks make a living. Thats all fine. The fact that he said he wanted something to stay on the agreement just so he could get the credit came across to me that he was putting himself before the customer. In my book, that is a poor example of customer service. The customer should always come first. HOWEVER I did not allow that to diminish my over all experience with Paramount Ford Hyundai! It was an excellent experience that I have already shared with several people. I would (and will) most definitely recommend this dealership to my friends, family and co-workers in the future! OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT! Thank you for a wonderful car...
Read moreI had one of the best, if most unusual buying experiences ever at Paramount Ford Hyundai in Valdese. It stated on 1/2/23 when my wife and I went for service on her 2016 Hyundai Tuscon. While there, we decided to discuss with some salespeople if trading in her car or selling it to our son when he turned 16 would provide us with the larger amount toward a new vehicle when it was time. We spoke to Justin, who though obviously new to the dealership staff was very helpful. He provided us with some great information and we decided it might be worth it to look into trading her car in. Justin brought in CJ who helped us to find the car of my wife's dreams. A 2023 Hyundai Tuscon with an amazing package. She loved this car, but we had a price point to meet. The staff at Paramount worked with us to get a really great deal together that got us the car she loved at our price point. It took some haggling, but I felt the dealership did a great job by us and my wife was so happy with her new Tucson And then less than 24 hours latter she wrecked the car in the rain. Luckily no serious injuries. I called out insurance people who didn't have a preferred shop, so I called the dealership and they sprung into action to help again. They recommended K&M and we had the car towed there. Then throughout the week while we waited for GEICO to decide on fixing the car, Paramount called us several time, checking in to make sure everyone was still physically okay and seeking to help us through the process of the car's appraisal and possible replacement. CJ, especially, called to discuss options for us if we needed. When GEICO did total the first car out, my next call was to CJ at Paramount to discuss the options. We would have less of a down payment now since we didn't have the old car, but Paramount promised to work to get us into the car we wanted. And they delivered! They looked all over the region over the MLK holiday weekend and found another 2023 Hyundai Tucson with all features my wife wanted. The second Tucson didn't ahve a sun-roof and leather seats, but she didn't care about that. It had the automatic start, heated seats, and power lift gate that was the deal breaker for her. CJ and the Paramount Team really listened to what she wanted and found another car of a slightly lower trim level that would offset the cost difference from the now smaller down payment. They rolled our extended warranty and GAP coverage we had bought for the other 2023 Tucson to this new Tucson since it was less than 30 days. And the finance folks even found a better finance deal, and the new car's monthly payment is $20 less than the previous one. Paramount worked so hard to help us, and really went above and beyond to help us make it...
Read moreI drove over 2.5 hours (one way) to Paramount Ford to test drive a Ford F-250 which I had found through an internet vehicle search. After having recently dealt with other car dealers in the greater Raleigh area looking for the same type of truck and being dealt with the typical shenanigans of bait-and-switch, strong arm sales tactics and poor communication, I called Paramount to see if their truck was still available prior to making the drive. Salesman Andrew helped me on the phone and promised to call me if there was any change to the truck's status while I was driving. When I arrived, Andrew was very pleasant and personable and had the truck ready for a test drive. Both before and after the test drive, I was able to look carefully around the truck and under the hood. Andrew was very patient and explained the truck's features and was willing to answer any questions. He didn't perform the common distracting salesman jibber-jabber and pushiness. Rather, he was very respectful and let me look at the vehicle. After agreeing to talk about pricing/trade-in, I was preparing myself for the 'ole sales routine like I mentioned above. To my shear amazement and surprise, Paramount is no ordinary delearship. The negotiation was painless and very fair (based on my weeks of research prior to the purchase) nor did we spend hours upon end haggling over little things. The finance manager Ryan was also very pleasant and in no means did he do the common "finance-manager-strong-arm-sales-push" on any extras or things I did not want. He respectfully offered them to me but did not push me or give me the woe-is-you-if-you-don't-buy-this-extra-stuff song and dance routine. Both Andrew and Ryan were down-to-earth young men who presented Paramount in an exceedingly positive light. I was at the dealership for a total of 4 hours prior to driving back to Apex in my new "preowned" F-250. A good portion of that time was due to my having to verify financial transactions with the bank and update my insurance. I had planned to purchase a similar truck at Carmax the following day; however, I'm so glad I took a chance with Paramount. I will definitely drive 5 hours round-trip to purchase another car from them when the time comes. My sincere appreciation to Andrew, Ryan and the other employees who took part in making my purchase a very pleasant experience. And to the owner of Paramount Ford, it's my hope you recognize these employees for their exemplary...
