Bojangles — Restaurant in Rutherford College

This pl needs to shut down clean and re train employees. They have staff walking out in the parking lot cursing and I dnt blame them they show up for there breakfast shift. They see that there biscuits are fresh but good that's being thrown on it yuck I was in line last week. And id been waiting for those ahead of me a while. Well I ordered. Got there to pay for my food and. We pulled over to eat I noticed several people returning that had been in front well I took a bite of a pork chop biscuit and so help me it had hot sauce and what ever else poured over it it was harder than a brick . The tea was a mixture x of taste between a tea bag and and Coffey ground bust with sugar no ice. So we took our food back the Coffey was absolutely boiled burnt 🔥 yuck. Ok I told them we'd just spent 13'30 for breakfast that neither of us can eat. So she puffed and said what's wrong with it I explained. The tea was awful his Coffey was terrible and. The pork chops was hard u couldn't stand what ever had been poured over it she screams well what do u want. I ask could I get a sausage n egg biscuit and a bacon egg cheese and can she plz re do the drinks she wouldn't offer half our money back .so we got that food well she never offered a new tea or Coffey . My husband took out his food and it was so nasty they'd threw egg n sausage on a biscuit flattened it mine was flat no bacon 🥓 very thin slice egg n half piece cheese smashed on a hard biscuit mean while cars returned food after food. Drinks after drinks. We will never pay to eat there again and God forbid your order is awful or isn't right you'll get something so smashed n nasty you dnt wanna take chance on spit being inside it . But be cautious on pork chop 🥩 biscuits because they apparently had decided this yr to make it very hard very spicy taste between hot sauce. Sauce and pepper it was. Soooo nasty 🤢 and the lady was takin orders but had a poor elderly lady having to hand out the miserable food Coffey n sodas. And she was pitiful she was doin her job. Handin your order the one takin orders on the morning of Nov 2 _2023 around 7:40 am she needs a major re train of attitude and how she speaks too people. As we watched we counted 12 cars 4 trucks and 6 SUVs bring back food ... So yea this bo jangels had gone to heck n back shew God I probably will never even be able to stomach ordering anything from there .we did find out that the pork chops had cooked too long and they threw them in the spicy hot sauce hoping it wouldn't leak off the bread and. Be so nasty 🤢 that's no way to run...

Are you curious which bojangles is the worst of them all? Well look no further, you’ve found it! Let’s start with a list of why you should never visit this location:

Your food will take forever. I work nearby and have visited this location many times. Each time, it seems to take longer than the last, and I really don’t seem to understand why. The store is always decently staffed, in a great location, and well kept, yet it remains the complete opposite of fast food.

You may get what you order, but you’ll be missing at least one item. On several occasions, when I’ve asked for sauces or utensils they’ve been conveniently omitted. This is not the exception, it is the rule and if I visit this location because I’m given no other choice, I will now thoroughly examine the contents of my order to ensure completion.

While I’ve never personally experienced this, several of my coworkers who frequent this location have mentioned being upsized without asking for it. This wouldn’t be a problem if the upsized items weren’t being charged to the customer, but levying charges to a customer for an item they didn’t ask for seems shady and is a terrible business policy.

All in all, I’ve had more than enough experiences with this Bojangles to make me never want to return. It’s possible I may be back, but these issues and the experiences that came with them will forever be engrained in my head. The owner of this establishment should seriously consider new management and retraining the entire staff. If that’s not a possibility, I don’t know how much longer this subpar fast food restaurant can last. If this is any indication of how other Bojangles are run then it makes complete sense why the company was recently sold. I seriously hope this gets better, because the Bojangles organization is so much better than this terrible location, we deserve better.

Update: 2/4/21 Yet another shining example of how Bojangles in Rutherford College goes above and beyond in their food preparation and service. Literally no one else in the drive thru line and they’re still struggling to give customers items that resemble food. See...

Normally when we come to this Bojangles the food is great and the employees are nice but stopping in today was a huge disappointment. The manager on duty was shouting at an employee in the dinning room she was so mean to him. If I would have had the money I would have gave him 1000.00 to walk out on her. She had no right treating and employee that way. Then they left me standing at the counter ignoring me when all I needed was some ketchup and mustard. 3 employees passed by me standing there so wrong they should be ashamed. Then finally an employee that had already passed me by came cake to the counter once again not acknowledging me so I spoke to her and I politely asked her for some ketchup and mustard. With an attitude she turned and snatched a handful of both and tossed them in the bag she was preparing for another customer I said mam that's not my order, with a terrible attitude she responded back how am I supposed to know what you ordered. At this point I'm angry and I said back to her isn't it your job to ask. So last time I will eat at that Bojangles. So sad too because I gave them a 5 star...
