I ordered 4 subs on the app on June 26th, when I got home, all 4 were inedible. The bread was dry and brittle and crumbled into 1,000 pieces. Needless to say they were trashed as the restaurant had closed by then. I reached out to support for a refund and was responded to by the manager on June 30th who wrote: "I am so sorry about your experience, we had a couple case of white bread that came through and we really struggled baking it, am not sure what happened with it. Would you prefer me to mail you a gift card or would you like to pick a day for us to just remake it for you?"
I responded to her email on July 1st and stated that I would prefer a gift card and gave her my address. Here it is 1 month later and I still haven't received my gift card and the emails that I've sent inquiring about it haven't been responded to.
I waited patiently before I posted this review as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and time to make it right, but a month of no response is just ridiculous.
I was hoping from all the mostly positive reviews that the Subway in Rutherford College would be great since the 3 in Morganton were recently closed, but if this is the way they treat their customers when they have an issue,...

The manager called me and said sorry I get it junk happens got my money back. It’s 8:48 at the time that I am writing this. We called at 8:30 to order over the phone. We know they close at 9pm my wife and I forgot about eating dinner because we’ve been running all day. We called to try and make it easy on them. The fussed and huffed saying they are not allowed to take order over the phone. Ok fine we will come in they proceed to huff again and say well don’t you know we’re trying to close the store……. I know food is hard. I manage restaurants and would fire staff for treating customers this way. Read moreI ordered my food online at 7:40pm They said it would be ready by 8 PM granted i understand those times are not quite accurate. But having me wait till 8:30 is excessive...the whole point of ordering online is so you don't have to wait for your food. And 9 times out of 10 it is ready by the time you arrive. I watched 6 different people pull up go in order and leave with their food then there was a 15 min window where no one came in and there was no one in the store. I never leave reviews but this time I wanted to throw a small tree in there window it had me so mad!! Food was good so ill give them that...but it's not 50 minutes waiting good!!
