Dollar General — Local services in Rutherford College

I actually started liking this store until I started noticing old habits that the former employees would do and that is...... smoking outside while people are standing in line waiting to be checked out, some have small children and don't have the time for waiting for someone to finish what they seem to think should come first! I know one great assistant manager that is actually leaving the store tomorrow because of other employees not putting up stuff that doesn't get bought or needs to be stocked! I had to move a big shelf myself tonight to get something I needed, and it had 1 in front of it and 1 behind it!! Sad to see something that was going good decline so fast! If I didn't live so close to this store, I would go to the new one in Icard off exit 116 at the light across from Icard First...

Honestly, the do not even deserve half a star. Not only have they been rude to me and my wife because they deside to stock the store when they are busy and get upset that we would like something behind them . Then to be rude and tel a 5 year old it was her falt forAccidentally bumping into their rack and knocking over a box when you can barely fit one person in the isle and to tel her that she has to put the toy we were purchasing for her in the basket. Clean store and friendly staff. Could use a remodel like Some of the other Dollar General stores. Huge parking lot. Ice freezer right outside the door, that's a plus for me during hot, summer, months. I hate having to put a bag of ice in my buggie especially when the line is taking longer and the ice melts all over your items. The buggies are confidently located right outside the door.
