Liled's Candy Kitchen — Local services in Vallejo

I’ve been a patron here for years. The service I received today however was horrible. The manager/owner helped me while his staff was at lunch. He asked if I wanted my order in a box or a bag. I asked for a box since that is normally how I get it, but repeatedly let him know that the choice was ultimately his because he made it clear that putting it in a box was a problem for him. I didn’t really mind either way. While packaging my order, one of his hands was gloved and one was not. So I asked if he had another glove. He gave a drawn out story about how many times a day he washes his hands and how when he started here, nobody wore gloves at all. Then he proceeded to put on a 2nd glove. I ordered 3 boxes of candy total. Met him at the register, payment card in hand. Just to make sure I had placed the order correctly, I asked him if I had all chocolate almonds on one box of candies. This took him over the top!! He refused my business and let me know that he was upset that I asked for the order to be in a box and that I asked him if he had a 2nd glove. These are both totally normal requests. His reaction in my opinion was unstable and unreasonable as well as totally...

Not only does it smell magical when you walk in but when I say this place makes the best Dubai chocolate in all of the Bay Area. I promise you. I’ve tried lots of Dubai chocolate including the infamous Dubai chocolate jars that you can get off TikTok and nobody makes it like this place. The harsh crunch that comes with most Dubai chocolate it is not that harsh it is beautifully made. I opened up a jar of Dubai chocolate from TikTok and my teeth almost fell off but when I tell you, this place makes not only the best Dubai chocolate bars but also these amazing Dubai chocolate brownies you have to try it. If you’re looking for handmade fresh candy, and ice cream made right there in the shop you can actually watch them make the sweets you need to come to this place. I shouldn’t even be eating candy. I have a medical condition, but this place is throwing me off of my rocker. Lol. If you are looking for Dubai chocolate this is where to come get it. It’s so good that it runs out fast so you have to come early but they make it fresh every single day.

A friend of mine had told me about this fantasticly incredible, instantly addictive and charming little confectionary featuring home made ice cream. It is seemingly hidden...right out in the open on Tennessee St. And I have no idea how I did not know or discover this place on my own! You see.....I'm an ice cream freak and chocoholic......basically a straight up sugar junkie. (IF YOU ARE OPPOSED TO OR CANNOT FOR MEDICAL REASONS INGEST SUGAR YOU SHOULD STILL GO, THE HAVE A VAST..AND I MEAN VAST SELECTION OF SUGAR FREE TREATS OF EVERY VARIETY). The staff was fantastic. A gentleman was making fresh caramel corn and he brought samples to all the patrons. I really can't say enough good things about Liled's. When you daydream about what a true ice cream and candy store should be...this is it..a place made of dreams straight from a fairytale.....or a place you heard about from your grandparents, and when you got there...is was everything as they described...
