Malley's Chocolates — Local services in Valley View

Our family has been ordering chocolates from Malley's for well over 50 years. Each year Grandma spends well over $1,000 on candies during Easter and Christmas. This year was very disappointing. When our order arrived everything was a melted mess! When our aunt, who placed the order, called to ask what happened she was told she had opted out of the ice packs. We live in Florida! She would NOT have opted out of the ice packs. She spent $68 on the shipping, the cost of the ice packs wouldn't have been a problem. IF she had accidentally clicked to cancel the ice packs someone should have called or emailed her to confirm that. Malley's is refusing to make it right. Sad, the children in the family cried because their special Easter candy is destroyed. No more Malley's in this family after this rotten experience. Went into Malley's after a great lunch at "Yours Truly" on Rockside Rd. Looked around a few minutes and then took our place six feet from the counter on the strip of red tape on the floor that is marking where you are supposed to stand and wait. And then stood there literally for more than 10 minutes while two guys behind the counter waited on one customer without so much as even acknowledging our presence. Have been to this Malley's location several times and the staff has been very courteous and helpful. Has a basic but good assortment of the items to choose from. Definitely would give this location a visit and my recommendation if they still offer this selection here- get a box of the Malley's chocolate penny coins with the.Lincoln Memorial design on the tails side and President Lincoln on the heads side with the year and the letter "M".
