This was nothing short of a rip off. I paid over $100 cash to schedule an appointment to have my 2020 Ram 1500 BigHorn an evaluation to decide what kind of speakers to replace the originals with because it was Pre-owned and the speakers were playing bad and muffled. Sad to say I was hit in the truck before the scheduled appointment and it was totaled out. I ended up getting a brand new truck the following week and went back to Duck's to get my deposit back because I am not going to probably ever need it again. They refused to give me back my hard earned money saying that it has to be credited to the store. Now why is that when I wrecked the truck and have a brand new vehicle? You can't force someone to spend money in your establishment. That's Strong Arming 100%. So I gave you cash that I didn't need used anymore but if I don't ever need any audio or car help that this one location business or any other business has then you keep my money? I don't need your store credit. I'm suppose to be moving back to Louisiana in a few months. You guys get business. I've even referred a few people to you guys and they were satisfied. That's kinda being hard up for business and money to be honest. I am suppose to be awarded store credit if I used my card. I gave you cash and I should get my cash back. Just like any transaction that wasn't used. There's a clause in there somewhere and I'm not hurting for money at all but I am seeking legal advice regarding this matter. People are horrible rip offs. You can't keep my money and I never used your services PERIOD !!!! You guys never got the chance to even see my vehicle so what's the problem? And you can't say that you missed out on business do to my appointment because there were several appointment openings I was able to choose from
The first picture is when I brought the truck. I purchased this truck on October 22nd. I came in Duck's audio on November 11th. Wrecked my truck on November 14th.As you can see on the second picture I can upload the picture of the incident report if you want. And I came into Duck's Audio on December 9 to get my deposit after coming back into town due to a family death. So how was it months later?!? This place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo, I came into Duck's Audio for my first time today (March 11th 2019) and I was actually impressed that they had more than just audio. I really needed some HID or LED lights for my car and even intended to pay big bucks. The 2 girls in the front were really nice, but I'm not too happy with the guy who ran the audio/lighting dept, because I patiently waited 5 minutes for him to BS with another customer before me (who obviously wasn't trying to buy anything) and when my turn to be helped finally came up, I asked him about strong LED lights, he said their best were $179 (of which he wouldn't have even had to try to sell, because I was willing to buy them on the spot anyway), so, right during the middle of our discussion as he was about to pull up examples for me to look at, this other customer just straight cuts in and starts talking to him (and in my head, I'm like WTF? I waited for my turn, ya know), so the audio guy who was already talking to me (whom I waited my turn for) just straight went along with this other guy's conversation instead of continuing with mine, which I found was rude, especially when I was actually planning on making a big purchase from them. I felt disrespected, so I just walked away and out the door. And by the time this audio guy realized I wasn't havin' it, it was too late. On the way out, I told the girl at the counter, "If he's not going to treat me, as a customer who waited for my turn, with respect, then I'll go buy my lights somewhere else." I normally support local businesses, but I won't be coming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been to Ducks Audio a few years back and they had installed new speakers in my overhead setup up in my 97 Wrangler and I couldnāt have been happier. And now, after having a Compustar alarm in my Wrangler for 28 years of which I had never a problem with , it just gave up the ghost. I had gotten a new set up of another Compustar as youād canāt beat 28 years of service as to the past one for my birthday and brought it in to them and they gave me a fair price and it was installed. Almost two weeks later I thought I had done something goofy with my key fob (like hit two buttons as once etc. ) until I read that it couldāve been that or my new hood pin to my new alarm. So I called up and they said bring it down. I didnāt expect it to be actually worked on that day but what a surprise that it was and they found out ā¦yes, it was the hood pin and had it done fast ..no problems. And it now works great. I found a new place to come to as in help. Iāve had my Wrangler for 28 years and, Iāve been to many of the advertised on TV outlets and I can say the majority of their technicians are crap. At DucksAudio there was no problems and they treat their technicians with respect and pay them well after speaking with their head tec..Thank youād guys for...
