Even though my wife and I are gluten intolerant, we both love a good pizza. We’ve lived in Vancouver since 2018 and I’ve had a difficult time finding pizza that suits our taste. We like a thin crispy crust, options for sauces other than just tomato sauce And the ability to make your own pizza not just buy one of the pizzas that they’ve put together themselves. about six months ago we decided to try blind onion. It’s not a Vancouver original but the one we go to at Mill plain and grand feels like the original it’s cozy has a very comfortable, neighborhood feeling and all the people that work there are really friendly and accommodating. Now for the pizza. When we looked at the menu online we were pleased to see that you could buy individual sized pizzas, 8 inch to be exact. My wife and I enjoy vastly different things on pizza so it’s nice that we could order individuals that weren’t too terribly expensive and when I saw that you could get smoked oysters and anchovies on a pizza with an olive oil, garlic sauce and pepperoncini’s I just about died. My wife put together her own pizza that was chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and the olive oil garlic dressing. We also don’t like lots of gooey cheese, and they were more than accommodating in giving us light cheese on our pizzas. The crust is thin and crispy and hand rolled on the sides and has a good flavor to boot. The Blind Onion has become our go to pizza place and I highly recommend everyone check it out!Well, not everyone, we don’t want it to get too crowded. They don’t deliver so you have to pick up but we live close so that’s not a problem for us and even if it were a little bit further away, we’d still make the drive. They also have a pizza card that if you get 10 pizzas punched on your card. Your next pizza is free. I think that’s a pretty good deal. You can also dine in there and they sell beer,...

It is not the worst I've had, I will say that. However, as someone who has chased after the best slice, coast to coast, I'd give any slice I've had the last 3 visits, a 2.9 score. (I've gone 3 times, different times of day, and ordered different slices)
Typically there is no char on the crust. Most of the time, it's been undercooked and doughy. The ingredients are not of the best quality. It's a greasy pie with a lack luster flavor. The cheese is bland and the ingredients are nothing to write home about. Select pizzas from domino's (pretty disgusting imo) have more of a flavor profile that any slice Blind Onion has given me. And for the price? Around 5 bucks for an under cooked and underwhelming flavor profile? Its a hard pass for me. 2.9 nothing to write home about, everyone...
Read moreThis place would get 5 stars if it weren't for this: My last time eating pizza in th state of washington was tonight. My wife and I ordered the same pizza we order every single time we order from this place. After repeating the order three times I went to pick it up and it was WRONG!!!!! Then he proceeds to tell me that he repeated the order back to me, which he did and I had to remind him extra cheese, he still managed to mess it up. This is how I will remember Blind Onion which pretty much sums up this entire state.....order is wrong, it is my fault, but the pizza is good. You need someone else taking phone orders and that is a fact. Thanks for making my last night...
