I live on the West Coast of Florida and had a leak occur in my pool solar panels. I contacted the local company who installed my system only to find out that they no longer deal with the manufacturer of my panels and that they no longer service the systems they installed. After many frustrating phone calls without any resolutions I found Climatic Solar on the internet who represents the manufacturer of my panels. I called and spoke with Erik who sympathized with my situation and took time out of his day to allow me to vent my frustrations. Erik told me that he had the plugs I needed to repair my leak and that he would send them to me. This is the unbelievable but true part that blew me away. Erik said that due to the run around I've been experiencing, he was going to send me out the plugs and would not charge me for the parts. Wow, a company that actually cares about people and looks for ways to help out. I spoke with Eric on Thursday the 19th of Sept and on Saturday the 21st I received a priority mail with more plugs then I requested enclosed. In addition, the postmark showed that Erik payed over $7.00 of his own money to send those parts to me. I can't thank Erik enough for his kindness and understanding and I hope that anyone and everyone who is interested in or experiencing issues with their current system will contact Erik because he and his company are by far the most honest, sincere and professional company I have...
Read moreWe have a perfect set-up for solar. Our house faces north and the back of the house has the perfect southern exposure. They did an energy audit and came up with the perfect power set-up. Our July electric bill was $155. Our system was installed in August making Sept the first full month of service - $27 was all we owed the FPL which is the minimum cost be hooked up to the power grid. We had zero out of pocket and under 1% financing. Our Payment is $85/month. We would have to give that to FPL every month Anyway. But we kept $43 in net savings we didn't have to fork out. Sept was a far rainier month than July, which had our A/C running overtime. With the panels on the south side of the house, I believe it helps keep the house cooler too. The gap between the panels and the roof allow airflow that makes the attic cooler. As power rates go up and up, the savings will too!
They did a great job and lived up to their promised output from their panels. I adamantly respect their integrity and recommend them to anyone looking at adding solar in the...
Read moreHad a need to call the Climatic Solar office to discuss an ongoing issue with my previously installed solar system by a different sketchy outfit. Erik, the owner, got on the phone and spent quite some time going over my system issues. Together we figured out the issues and came up with a plan to see if my net metering improves over the next few months. The system has only been turned on for a few short months, but FPL had me installed in their "Budget Billing" and "Solar Together" programs, completely screwing up my actual meter readings and increasing my monthly bills.
Bottom line, Erik at Climatic Solar is great man and honestly cares about hss customers, even though he did not install my existing service. I appreciate his time and expertise in helping me understand the intricacies of solar to the layman.
I would highly recommend Climatic Solar to anyone in need of sales, service or maintenance on their...
