Vero Beach Auction — Attraction in Vero Beach

Purchased an item and Vero Beach Auction REFUSED TO SHIP THE ITEMS TO ME.

Here are the facts:

I just got off the phone with Vero Beach auctions.

3 hours ago I asked about their ship charge and the ship method. Their quote to go USPS was $35 I asked them to remove the charge from my invoice because another shipper stated that they were cheaper. But the other shipper was not cheaper so I called Nancy the owner back WITHIN 2 HOURS and she stated that SHE WOULD NOT SHIP MY ITEM AND REFUSED TO LET ME GO THRU THE AUCTION HOUSE. She stated that she had already delivered ALL THE JEWELRY TO HER SHIPPER, and that they will not come back again, and therefore SHE CANNOT SHIP MY MY ITEM. How is this possible when the payments for the invoices were not even due until the day I made contact???? Nancy said that she was the owner, but she argued with me telling me that I shouldn't have refused her ship quote and it was TOO BAD AS SHE WAS NOT GOING TO SHIP FOR ME.

This behavior is extremely unprofessional at a minimum and the auction house should be talked to about their behavior toward their clients!

Had to open a dispute with Better Business Bureau, AND A CHARGEBACK. And they still would not deliver the items.

Think again before bidding with these thieves and...

Will waste your time and try to take advantage if they can. I've put them to the test. After making arrangements to come in, then a phone call 20 minutes prior letting them know I'm coming. A person named nancy that corresponded with me tells me she cannot give me info on pricing because she had no idea I was coming, but was still looking to grab my merchandise at a steal if possible.. seems,, nothing one has is worth anything except the junky furniture and tired almost valueless art that they display can command any price is how it seems to me.. I was told shipwreck treasure hundreds of years old,, (silver) is very common and not worth much,, lol.. You can tell what type if place you are dealing with just by walking in and taking a gander.. A very poor way of running a business such as they claim to be! Just...

Wow if I can give 10 starts, I would. I cannot express how helpful Nancy (owner) was in such a hurtful time of my life. My parents died leaving me all these items to deal with and Nancy was so helpful and honest with me. Helped me auction what was sellable and directed me what to do with the remaining items. I was so pleasantly surprised with the amount they auctioned for items that I would of just disgarded. It is so reassuring to deal with such honest people in the time of need.
