TL;DR Go to Linebreakers. It's the best place in the High Desert for gaming hobbyists of many different styles and genres. A TL;DR cannot do this store enough justice, hence the short essay singing its praises.

I've been frequenting this store for almost 3 years now. It's not due to a lack of competition. It's not out of some arbitrary loyalty to having started tabletop gaming here. My loyalties are to two things: my enjoyment of my hobbies and my wallet (two things which are constantly at odds). I'm able to satisfy both of these at Linebreakers. If you're into Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, board games, comics, you name it, Linebreakers has it. Always fair and honest prices. Staff is passionate about the stuff they sell. They're not trying to be salesmen, they're gamers.

HUGE space for wargaming, tabletop gaming, TCGs, and hanging out with fellow hobbyists and friends. Nice crowd, too. I'm not going to unilaterally say that EVERYONE is amazing (how can I, I haven't met everyone who's ever been in the store), but the people that frequent the store are all chill people to have a fun gaming experience with. When you see many of the same faces at the store like I have, it makes you happy and fills you with confidence that yes, this IS a good store.

I highly recommend you check it out. I am into table top gaming and the employees, including the owner, are exceptionally helpful and sincere. You don't feel like they're just trying to get you to buy, which is something I have experienced at other gamestores out of town. I asked for a game. (Mage Knight). At the time they said they would have to special order it for a bit less than I could find online. I had to decline due to budgeting issues. However, when I walked in the next time, they had gotten it in.

They are good people, welcoming, friendly and above that, they listen to what we ask for. Even though I couldn't buy it, they still made it available to purchase if someone else wanted it.

Definitely check this place out, even if you are new to gaming or cards. They will recommend something that suits you.
