If you could give 0 stars i would. The management and front desk stuff are absolutely unprofessional, clueless and irresponsible. I called to inquire about the class they had on their website, the person who answered my call gave me all the info and instructions on how to make a reservation. I made a reservation online and paid for it. Received confirmation email with date and time. On the day of the class I arrived to the studio and found out that the class was moved couple weeks ago and there no class today, and the website just wasn't update. To my questions on why the person i spoke with didn't let me know about or why no one called me to let me know that there no class when they see my reservation, they had no answer. I was beyond disappointed as i made all the plans around this class. They gave me an owner's email to address my concerns. Well, owner never responded to my email. A week later I decided to give it a second try. I check the website again and saw an updated schedule with the class on Thursday at 8.45. Same day i called the studio to reconfirm that there will be a class. I briefly told them the story that happened last week and said that i dont want it to happen again. She put me on hold , and after couple minutes came back saying that there definitely a class today. Guess what? When i arrived to the studio, NO CLASS!!!!! Like what????? I was told that the instructor is recovering after the surgery. Then why i was told that the class still scheduled when i called, why this class is on the updated schedule? I am beyond dissatisfied. I arranged my evening to be able to come here, drove 45 min one way. Would not recommend this place unless you know instructors in person and can verify class availability through them, as the stuff has no idea what...
Read moreI have been dancing at b2d since 2011 and had never danced in my life before then. As an adult I was scared to go into my first class but thanks to a welcoming studio and staff I quickly became addicted to the classes and started performing. I have not taken all the instructors, however I have only heard positive things and can personally highly recommend Marcus and Manny for hip hop, Eve for Kpop and Dianamaria for Urban Burlesque. Manny was my first ever dance instructor and he is so calm and cool and makes the class fun. Marcus is an amazing dancer/musician and I am currently obsessed with his classes. He breaks down the moves and always creates the most awesome choreo with brilliant musicality. Dianamarias class was my first ever performance class 7 years ago and it was a blast. I had zero experience and she turned me into a sexy dancer IN HEELS (I had never danced in heels before... and it was awesome). The ladies in UB class are always supportive and amazing as well. Eve's kpop class is always a joy to go to. Her upbeat personality and teaching style make every class feel like a dance party. I always leave her class with a smile on my face even though I don't know any Korean, the kpop music is so catchy that you can't help but love it! The owners of the studio are the same as when I started and I love the variety of classes they offer and their makeup policy. They have interns who run the front desk and I have never had any issues with them or with signing up for classes. Everything is run very smoothly and there is always plenty of parking. It's easily accessible from rt 123. I highly recommend this studio...
Read moreI’m 49 and take Gabby’s Beginner Hip Hop for Adults and Sensual Hip Hop. Hiring Gabby was one of Born2Dance’s smartest decisions. I take her Beginner Hip Hop for Adults and Sensual Hip Hop classes. She really knows the fundamentals and how to teach them to adults, so you learn, grow, and still look cool doing it. On top of that, class is genuinely fun; the vibe is upbeat and supportive and she makes everyone feel comfortable stepping outside their comfort zone. I’m a big fan of her combos and the way she builds confidence in the room. Couldn’t...
