Elizabeth Michaels — Local services in Vienna

Came in with wedding party to try on bridesmaids dresses. We had a few picked out and knew the dress number and brands we wanted to try on. Getting them to help us or even provide the most basic service was like pulling teeth. The associate acted annoyed the whole time and wouldn’t help us with clips or finding the styles we were looking for. Overall their rude attitude put a damper on what would have otherwise been a fun experience. I ended up ordering my dress from another shop since I wasn’t local, but the other bridesmaids had no choice but to purchase through Elizabeth Michaels. I wish there were other options in the area, and that they would treat their customers with more respect.

I am an individual person that had an awful experience at your store. I wish myself and the bride in our party had looked at the reviews of your store before visiting. We didn’t….And unfortunately our experience mirrored so many others. Unfortunately my review didn’t bring up any new or budding issues. It truly just reiterates reviews that I wish we had looked at before entering your store. The drive elsewhere would’ve been valuable. Would not recommend. Stopped in to inquire about a bridal appointment and to see inventory and before my interests were addressed I was told several times they don’t allow try ons without an appointment. (I was not there to try on). I was never asked my interest, wedding date, or offered an appointment. They pointed me toward the dresses and never checked in to answer questions. There were no other clients in the building and there were 2 staff members. When I later messaged them to address how they made me feel, the lady who was there responded in a defensive manner. Not a good experience and won’t be perusing purchase from them. More than likely this review will have a defensive response from them (like all of the other negative reviews). A fake apology, followed by defensiveness, finished with a sarcastic ‘positivity’. Just be kind to customers.. it’ll get you far. The customer service at this shop was horrible! My bridemaids ended up buying their dresses there but I was really disappointed with the experience. I had all the style numbers of the dresses we wanted to see and no one helped us. They pointed at a rack and then about 4 associates and the owner stood around talking to each other. We always had to ask for help and it felt very awakard to do so. Like we were interupting them. I couldnt believe we were paying so much money and being treated so poorly. But there are very few places around here. I will not go back though.

Edit: We didn't want to be hoovered over. But help finding the few dresses with the numbers and being offered help like the tightener clips or the swatchest at very least would have been nice. Oh and when my bridesmaid went to pick up her dress she said she was practically shoed out of the store so she didn't even ask about alterations. The worst customer serivce I have...
