I recently purchased a new stand up freezer from this business and it worked well for 10 days and it started malfunctioning. When I contacted them they passed me on to the manufacturer who also took no responsibility for this failing unit. Back and forth with Maineros and the manufacturer for 3days before they offered to replace the unit or for $200-300 more I could have another one that was in-stock. Day 8 lost my food estimated to be about $300. Contacted both manufacturer and Maineros who both said that they were not responsible for any loss and then informed me that the replacement unit wouldn't arrive for another 2months later so now I have no freezer and loss my food ax well. Their response was you can return it to us and we'll refund you for the unit but not the food lost. Also my responsibility to bring the unit back. I grew up noticing this business and never heard anything negative about them, but I guess I had to experience it for myself in order know what they were about. Very disappointing experience my expectations never materialized and as someone in business I believe this matter could have alleviated by just replacing the unit at the first call. Read moreI have bought from mainieros before. It seems always the same, very impersonal, even after many purchases. I have always purchased for rentals so I was never particular. This time I purchased for my home. The Salesperson talks me into Samsung appliances. When the appliances are delivered Mainieros repairman arrives to install the dishwasher. He tells me that he doesn't repair Samsung refrigerator because they are a bad product. To top it off I contacted Samsung this morning with a question and after giving them my serial number they told me the unit must have been on the floor for awhile because even though I have only owned it 6 months it is out of warranty.
