Donât buy from this dealership!! I found an F450 on line that showed it was in stock at Green County Ford. I called and âSkipâ told me they would have it in two weeks however they want 10K over MSRP. Their web site shows the price at MSRP. I then used their website and they offered me a good trade in price for my truck. When I called and talked to Skip âŚ. my truck is worth $4000 less then they offered on-line. What is up with all the false advertising? But ok, I really want the truck so I sent $1000 down payment. For the next two weeks Iâm calling and texting trying to get a buyers order. They send the buyers order three times with incorrect information and asking me to sign that I had already received the truck! Because it was year end, Skip asks me to wire the money for the truck. They not only donât have the truck, they have no idea when they will receive it! After all of the unethical issues, I asked for my $1000 back. I donât want to do any business with a dishonest dealership, I asked Skip to return the $1000 in the form of a credit card credit. We have no written signed agreement. signed buyers agreement. So they ghost me! Management wonât return my phone calls and Skip wonât respond to my request. I guess they just think they can keep my money and treat customers however they like. I called my credit card company and they agreed this is unethical and maybe even illegal and the charge was taken off my card. Skip told me this dealership is in a mess the first time I called. Fianance Manager quit the last month of the year, major Management turnover etc. I should have the red flags then! Iâve bought 9 Fords in a row and discussed this with a Sales Manager at another Ford and they were shocked!!! RUN away from Green County Ford and spend your hard earned money where youâll be treated by...
Read morePeople are super nice! My car specifically that I bought was either too new on the lot for them to know anything about or it just wasnât disclosed before driving 40 minutes to them after my 12 hour night shift. I got there and did a short test drive of the car and realized the check engine light was on (not uncommon for mustangs of that generation) and I asked what it was and they hadnât brought the code reader to check it so I just let it go knowing I could figure it out. I paid for the car and got on the road just to realize the ac does not blow cold in a fully blacked out vehicle in the middle of the summer, so I brought it back (keep in mind I still have had 0 sleep since my shift) and asked them to check if the free on or ac needed recharged, and they did hook it up and attempt to find the issue but were unable to locate the exact issue. By the time my car was hooked up and being checked it was already around 3pm and I had been awake since 6pm the day before and still had 0 sleep, I asked them to just go ahead and unhook it because I needed to go home and sleep before my next 12 hour shift at 6pm that night. I called them on my days off the next following days and they said that since it has high miles (168000) that they would not run it through the shop or fix any issues before selling the vehicle. I bought the vehicle for $8500 and with all the issues it will cost about half of that just to fix the ac. It is a beautiful car and they were very nice there but it is very crappy to not fix a car before selling it to someone, let alone an all black car with no ac in the middle of now a heatwave and also to not tell them about the issues before selling their vehicle and coming to there place to buy one...
Read moreLast week I went to my local Ford dealership, Green Country Ford of Vinita, and traded My 2017 Ford Mustang, financed through Ford Motor Credit, for a new 2020 Ford F150 truck, also financed by Ford. Two days later I learned Ford has a current promotion to help their customers during this COVID 19 pandemic. The promotion is, buy a New Ford by 4/30/2020, and finance through Ford, You get 3 months deferred payment plus Ford would make the next 3 payments, calling it âFord Bonus Cashâ. I was extremely excited and happy when I learned this. As a healthcare worker, working at a state-run facility with over 200 patients. My coworkers and I have been under a great deal of stress during this pandemic. I thought this current promotion is a great way for Ford Motor Company to show they really care about their customers. I went back to the dealership and was told; I missed out on the current promotion because I did not ask for it at the time. I asked them; if I were to buy a new ford today would I get the promotion? They GLEEFULLY said: âOnly if you asked for itâ. They seemed to take great delight in taking advantage me and of my ignorance of the promotion. I left the dealership feeling both embarrassed and cheated. I sent them a text message telling them just that. Their response was âYouâre welcomeâ. This is the type of dealership that give car salesman a bad name. I am writing this letter in the hope that Ford Motor Company will make it right and let me have Fords current finance promotion. I have been a proud Ford owner my entire adult life. I love my new F150. I will always be driving a Ford. However, I will never do business with Green Country...
