If you have read any review, I have ever written about small-town Mexican restaurants operating from a repurposed buildings then you don’t need to read this review. It is a duplicate of ones I have written hundreds of times before. Before you scroll on to something else though, here is a summary. This is what I call a good solid Mexican restaurant. The food is nicely spiced, the portions are decent, as are the prices. The service is good, the restaurant is clean. If you are on “The Mother Road” and need a burrito fix, feel comfortable pulling in here to experience authentic OkieMex food. They can provide beer and drinks, and the menu is several pages of fine print, covering all things Mexican food. You will find a meal to appease your hunger. The structure looks like an old McDonalds. Pull in park, and eat. Simple.

Our waiter, a tall individual with a stoic demeanor seated us in a booth of our choice. Chips and salsa followed and I requested the mandatory salsa picante. Good mild, flavorful salsa and a good bite from the salsa picante; blended together they made a perfect salsa. I had the Enchiladas Verde and my wife selected a combo plate: Beef Taco, Beef Enchilada, both plates with beans and rice. My wife tried to sneak in on the lunch special, but it was slightly after 3pm and the waiter wasn’t allowing any exceptions. Nicely spiced ground beef in the food, good beans and rice. It is good Mexican food. Eat Here! We enjoyed the meals.

We went here for my 53rd birthday with my family. Food was very good, however when my daughter told them it was birthday and they came to sing, which was fine, irritating but fine, one of the waiters smashed a plate of whipped cream in my face! For one WHO does that! For two, I unfortunately have a VERY bad triggger of things in my face!!! Took several minutes for me to calm down, and 30 minutes later am still shaking from the triggered flashbacks!!! This was a horrible ending to what had been an enjoyable outing with my family...I had NO problem with hat and the song, but having someone come from behind me and smash something in my face. HARD NO! WAS...

Great service. Tamales and shrimp enchiladas are 👍 Today my husband had the California burrito it probably takes two people to eat that giant thing lol. We did order a small side of queso because it was so large it gets a little dry with all of the delicious product inside.

I had their new recipe milaneza It was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. The coating was almost a fish fry coating and the chicken breast was pounded so thin but still had moisture and flavor. Instead of the rice I requested refried beans. That made all the...

I ordered the shrimp agave and it was pretty good if I do say so myself. Service was good waitress made sure to check up on us often. Granny was satisfied with her soft tacos and she isn't satisfied very often. Sister, sitting next to Granny ordered shrimp enchiladas and she liked them but didn't finish them because she had braums before little rat. Girlfriend sitting next to me enjoyed her shrimp. Girlfriend's mother also liked her food. Overall very good experience with good food and service 👍
