Long Jewelers is a full-service jewelry shop with a gorgeous selection of custom made jewelry. They have a jeweler on site to design and make repairs. The owner, Jim McEwen is pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Jim also spent quite a bit of time with me explaining a faulty prong on one of my rings. He quoted me prices that were also very fair. They discovered the problem with the prong after a complementary thorough cleaning of my jewelry in their high tech jewelry cleaning machine. This is an exceptional service they offer to their customers and is very much appreciated. My jewelry looks brand new! Thank you! The assistant that helped me with several minor watch repairs and one overhaul on a watch that has family sentimental value, knows a significant amount of information on watches. I was very impressed with her knowledge. She also adjusted and fixed a watch that was too big for my wrist and was missing a pin, all free of charge. I very much appreciate such service. Have had terrible experiences the three times I have dealt with Long Jewelers. Got a watch fixed there and the woman who helped was nasty and scoffed when I asked about getting another watch band replaced. Picking it up was also met with terrible customer service. Family member called in to get another watch fixed and when simply asking for the hours, was also met with extremely subpar customer service.
