I’ve been going here regularly to get my nails done for about 3 years now, but I took about a year break because last May I waited an hour past my scheduled appointment time waiting to even be seated before deciding to go to the nail salon across the street for a walk in. Today I tried to give them another chance because I was feeling lazy and wanted to get my eyebrows waxed and i know they always did really good nails so I assumed they take pride in their work (I’ve never had my eyebrows done at Hollywood before but I’ve had them done other places). Well needless to say, I totally thought wrong. I’ve never seen the lady who did my eyebrows in there before so I’m assuming she hasn’t been there very long. When she finished waxing and I got to look in the mirror at them I was extremely disappointed, and I told her I did not like them because they are far apart and very uneven (and not to mention she completely took away the natural shaping my eyebrows already had). She looked at me confused like she didn’t know what I was trying to tell her and told me that that’s how they are supposed to look, and to be honest, I couldn’t even tell if she wasn’t understanding what I was saying or if she was just pretending because I’ve never had an issue with the language barrier in there. My eyebrows honestly looked so much better when I walked in there than when I walked out, and I wish I never went because this is the week before my birthday! Randomly googled nail salons near my home and what was halfway for myself and my good friend. I looked at a bunch of them and I’m a stickler for reviews. I ended up finding this nail salon and I have to say I am OBSESSED with how my nails turned out. I haven’t found a nail salon who did such a great job since I moved down here 2 years ago. I’d usually wait to go back north and visit family and get them done. Anyway, the staff was so kind and actually held a conversation with me. I definitely will be going back. I’m beyond happy that I found a nail salon here in LA and don’t have to wait to go home and get them done. Also, for a gel French manicure; it wasn’t as costly as other places. I must say, living in California there are tons of nail salons to pick and choose from. Majority of them left a bad impression. During my vacation, Hollywood Team Nail Spa is part of top 10% out of 100 that has left a very POSITIVE impression. All my requests were granted and they went above and beyond. From shape, length and designs far exceeded my expectations. Most of us may worry about getting hurt  or not getting what we desire during the process but even the filing and shaping with use of the nail machine left me at ease, the whole process was very satisfying. Do not hesitate to speak your requests because that way they will know and give you what you came in for and more..
