Acai Express — Local services in Wake Forest

This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. There appeared to be a child, possibly around 12 years old, preparing the food behind the counter, which raises serious concerns about legality—especially during the school year. The cashier struggled to understand English and was constantly running back and forth between making sandwiches, taking orders, and handling payments. The whole operation felt chaotic and unorganized. I won’t be returning.

Response to owner When people are paying for a service, there really shouldn’t be room for error. It’s wonderful that your daughter is helping out, but that might be more appropriate for cooking at home rather than in a professional setting where customers are expecting a certain standard.

My family and I stopped in for smoothies after a long, hot day at the park. We were greeted when we came in and were told about the different acai bowls that are available. My family and I hadn't tried acai bowls before, but after a sample of their acai, we HAD to get them! The ingredients were fresh, and the recipes were AMAZING! I had the Pro Surfer bowl and it was filling and refreshing!

We also had the opportunity to try their cookie butter popsicles and if you are a fan of biscoff cookies, you HAVE to get these! They were absolutely superb and tasted just like biscoff!

My oldest son who is extremely picky got the Choco Coco smoothie and to our surprise, he loved it and drank it down in less than 10 mins!

My family also got the Hawaiian bowl, Valentine bowl, and the Coco bowl. Everyone's bowls were licked clean and we will definitely be going here again!

Our new favorite place!! This is definitely going to be a regular spot for us, that we will be visiting often! I’m very excited to finally have Açaí Express in Wake Forest, as WF has definitely been in need of this wonderful business!

The owners are super friendly, and great customer service! They have a wide variety on their menu-something for everyone! So far my husband and I, have tried numerous different items and have loved everything we’ve ordered, ranging from their Açaí bowls, Mango Bowls, Pitaya Bowls, Chicken Quesadillas, and a couple different smoothies! All have been delicious! My personal favorites currently are the smoothies, Mango Bowls, Avocado toast, and Chicken quesadillas! Oh and my son loves their yummy Pikole’s too, those are also delicious!!
