great place to go for a round of golf, a day at the driving range, or some mini golf with the family. The course is a 9-hole executive course that is open to the public and offers a variety of tee boxes to accommodate players of all skill levels. The driving range is also open to the public and features a variety of target greens and bunkers. The place also has a mini golf course that is perfect for kids and adults alike.
The course is well-maintained and the greens are in good condition. The fairways are a bit narrow, but they are generally in good shape. The bunkers are well-maintained and the sand is soft. The course is not very challenging, but it is a fun and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
The driving range is also well-maintained and the range balls are in good condition. The target greens are a good variety of distances and the bunkers are well-placed. The driving range is a great place to practice your swing or just hit some balls for fun.
The mini golf course is a lot of fun and it is a great way to spend an afternoon with the family. The course is challenging but not too difficult. great place to go for a round of golf, a day at the driving range, or some mini golf with the family. The course is well-maintained, the facilities are good, and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend Quail Ridge to anyone looking for a place...
Read moreUnfortunately, the ONLY Range around. CRAZY CROWDED. Very few covered Stalls, so HOT SUN it is. Stalls extremely tight. A small bucket is few balls for $8. Other Customers were many High School age Kids, who have no idea how to play Golf, hacking around with their Friends to waste their Summer vacation from School. Also, next to me was a Guy who was Babysitting his 5 year old and a Baby in a Baby Carriage at the Driving Range!! He alternated Shots with the 5 year old, who kept hitting his ball into the short wall between Stalls. I truly saw an Emergency Room visit in my near future!!! On the other side of me was a Teen who was there to "burn the day" using 30 year old Clubs, that his Grandfather had thrown out, but he retrieved from the Trash. The Driver Head flew off on his first shot. (I saw another Emergency Room visit in my future!!). BOTTOM LINE...If you are at all SERIOUS about your Golf practice and would like to CONCENTRATE on your swing or improvement, THIS IS NO PLACE FOR YOU!!! It is pretty much a public playground for Teens (NOT GOLFERS) on School Vacation looking to waste time (their time and YOUR TIME, if you are serious...
Read moreI found the mats and balls to be in great condition. However, there's a couple areas where I think this range can significantly improve:
No golf bag stands are present. I have a cart bag that isn't stable standing on it's own, and mine fell during my range session. The pavement is not 100% level which adds to the challenge of keeping a cart bag standing. I would consider adding a stand to each mat.
Not enough pins for the left-most covered mats, especially shorter distances. I felt like I needed to aim close to the right mat divider to reach some of the pins, and the closest pin from those mats is 105 yards. I'd like to see pins 30 and 60 yards out to practice those critical yardages, and in general more pins on the left side of the range.
All in all this range is one of the better ones I've been two. I'd easily rate 5 stars if these two points...
