TuxDen — Local services in Wall Township

I never usually write a google review unless I had an outstanding experience, but these days many people rely on reviews to decide where to shop and spend their money. That being said, this was our first time at Tux Den and the experience I would have rated less than one star if possible. My husband was supposed to attend an event that he needed a tux for, but was rushed to a hospital (unexpectedly) the day prior to the event for emergency surgery. When I called to let the owner (Jeff) know that we would not be able to attend the event and kindly asked if we could have some sort of a refund or accommodation he strictly stated he would not be changing his policy for me and that there are no refunds. While I DO entirely understand that a full refund would be a lot to ask for, SOME form of a refund should have been issued in good faith and to earn or business again one day soon. That being said we spend almost $300 dollars to have this tuxedo that my husband was never able to even try on. Poor business, poor customer services and this is why places like this don't last. We had an amazing experience from the very beginning. Jeff is clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about his job. He is not one to just “yes you to death” to make a sale. He takes his time with you and gives honest opinions on what he thinks looks best. He is very personable and cares about your experience. All of our men in the bridal party were very pleased and comfortable with the fitting of the suits. During the week of the wedding, one of the groomsmen received the wrong size shoe. With one phone call, it was taken care of immediately. He made this portion of the wedding process very stress free for us. I had an amazing experience renting my tuxedo for my wedding from Tuxedo Den! From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The gentleman who helped me was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable during the fitting process. Plus, his dog was an adorable bonus during the visit!

He took precise measurements, and I was a bit nervous when he mentioned the tux would be shipped to me. I worried it might arrive wrinkled. But everything was perfect! The tuxedo arrived in excellent condition, no wrinkles at all, and the fit was spot on. I felt confident and ready for my big day.
