UPDATE: In response to the seller's diatribe of a response below, I was NOT trying to match a piece of glass I'd had in my possession for many years--I just started doing stained glass three weeks before I placed the order. So, in addition to having terrible products and customer service they are LIARS, as well. I never told them I was trying to match a piece of glass that I had--I don't have the glass, which is WHY I ORDERED IT. What I was looking for was what they had pictured on their website and listed as Rainbow Florentine Dichro (picture below). That is obviously not what I received (also pictured below). You can decide for yourself if what they sent me was what I ordered. I tagged the manufacturer in posts on Facebook and Instagram, and they did NOT confirm that what I recieved was the correct product. Not one single person polled out of THOUSANDS of people on a stained glass facebook group thought it was the product they listed. Every single person said Rainbow Art Glass took advantage of a new artist. Additionally, I was not told it was a non-returnable item when they gave me a quote because THEY NEVER GAVE ME A QUOTE. I simply ordered off their website. It was also not special cut to my dimensions as Rainbow alleges below. It was a quarter sheet, which is the measurement they offer on their website. So, I dont know whose order they are talking about. And all items are returnable if you send the wrong item, Rainbow!! š¤£š¤£ Again, the proper product was NEVER confirmed by the manufacturer as alleged by Rainbow. I'd love to see those emails though, so go ahead and post them, Rainbow! It's obvious why Rainbow has so many bad reviews. Their products and their customer service are HORRIBLE. But, don't take my word for it, read the rest of their reviews where they argue with their customers, don't take responsibility for anything (there is not one speck of dust in their store!! How dare people suggest otherwise!! š¤£š¤£), and make defamatory remarks about their customers. I have since received the correct glass from a totally different supplier and I can confirm what Rainbow sold me and then double downed on was NOT what is listed on their website. This is an unscrupulous company that deserves negative stars. I'm actually blown away with how dishonest this business is.
ORIGINAL POST: I ordered Rainbow Florentine dichro, and received something else entirely. When I questioned them about it, they were rude and told me 1) you don't see the full spectrum rainbow in quarter sheets (NOT TRUE), and 2) the rainbow dichro needs to be fused to see the full spectrum (ALSO NOT TRUE). Here's a pic of the rainbow dichro they sent vs what is listed on their website. They never addressed their claims about having to fuse the dichro to see the full spectrum or that you do in fact see the full spectrum or at least MOST of the full spectrum in a quarter sheet. They made every excuse in the book when all they had to say was that they messed up. I have had A LOT of success from almost every single other glass supplier I have purchased from, but unfortunately, there are rotten eggs in the bunch, as evidenced by all their bad reviews. They raised the minimum amt that you can order because of the high shipping costs. Making the customer pay for shipping twice. I ordered things last week and while working and on the road I called and was informed of the $100 min. I said cancel the order, I will look later and said I was working and on the road. Today I went in to order and they had canceled my acct without informing me that they were going to do so because I hadn't ordered in over a year. When my other friend opened her acct and hadn't ordered they called her to let her that she was going to lose it. They said they would reinstate me, but I might have to order $300 worth of product! I ordered a kiln from them and when I wanted to cancel it, they told me I would lose 50% of my deposit. Then when I got the kiln and had problems with it. They called to let me know that it was out of stock but would soon be available in the next week. Then I received an email that it was shipped. Unfortunately, I didnāt follow the tracking number for a couple of days. When it didnāt arrive when it should have, I checked the tracking number. Iām a snowbird in Florida. Inadvertently, I had used parts of both of my addresses! I felt sick as this glass is for a student in my class. As soon as they opened this morning, I was on the phone explaining my problem. William was understanding, took the accurate address and advised he would call me back. Within two hours, he did so and was able to divert it to the correct address. Imagine my relief!
