As Ryan and I sit down to reflect on the magic of our wedding day, it’s impossible not to dedicate a moment to the incredible role Jeff Scott Gould and the SCE team played in making it an unforgettable occasion. His presence and talent went beyond our wildest expectations and we’re filled with gratitude for everything he brought to our special day.

From the very first time we spoke to Jeff, it was clear he was not just any DJ, but a true professional who understood his role not just about playing music, but, creating an atmosphere and a journey for us and our guests. His attention to detail and understanding our vision was nothing short of impressive. He took the time to get to know us, our love story and it showed in every beat he played.

On our wedding day, his performance was nothing short of masterful. He had the innate ability to read the room, gauge the energy, and to adapt the music choices to keep the dance floor alive. His talent for seamlessly transitioning between different genres and eras was truly remarkable. Our guests (all different age groups) were tearing up the dance floor and everyone was just caught up in the rhythm and energy. For the entire four hours of the reception, the dance floor was never empty. To this day (we are now about a month after our wedding), our guests are STILL raving about how much they loved Jeff and wanting to book him for their next event!! Other guests from out of state also commented how impressed they were with him!

But it was not only his musical skill that impressed us, his engaging commentary and charming personality added a layer that we loved. He brought laughter, warmth and a personal touch to the evening, making everyone feel like they were part of something special.

We cannot forget to mention the sound quality of the speakers - AMAZING! We added additional enhancements - the multi-media package, sparklers and “dancing on the clouds,” - again all AMAZING!! Well worth it! We also cannot forget to mention we booked Jeff for our after party. He brought the energy to another level at the after party - we can go on and on and on about how great he was! Haha!

We also cannot forget to mention how we were able to get in contact with Jeff in the first place and that was through our initial e-mail with Steph Ala at SCE offices. She was so responsive to emails with our endless questions, lol.

In closing, Jeff - you are so amazing! We knew that you would be amazing when we booked you, but somehow, you managed to exceed our expectations. We were extremely excited when you were available for our wedding day! But there are not enough words to say how blown away Ryan and I were by you and the SCE team. We had full trust in your ability to handle everything on our day - the technicalities and formalities - allowing us to be fully present in the moment. Your commitment to our celebration was evident, you played a pivotal role in making our wedding the most magical day. We want to thank you from the depths of our hearts. You are not just a vendor, but a creator in creating memories that will last a lifetime. You, seriously are the maestro of our wedding day, orchestrating the perfect harmony of love, joy and music!!

Jason Jani was an absolute gem to work with throughout the entire planning process. From our first conversation, he made us feel confident and comfortable, guiding us through every step and helping us bring our vision to life. The internal staff at SCE was absolutely amazing—every team member was friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. I personally communicated with Stephanie Ala, who was incredibly helpful, always quick to respond to emails, and attentive to all our needs. Her responsiveness and dedication, along with the rest of the team’s efforts, made everything stress-free.

On the day of the wedding, Jason and the SCE team went above and beyond. Jason not only handled the timeline and flow seamlessly but also checked in with us multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly. It was such a relief to have someone so organized and attentive by our side, making sure we could fully enjoy every moment without any stress.

Now, let’s talk about the music—WOW! The DJ set was flawless, with a mix of songs that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Our guests are still raving about how incredible the music was, and the energy was electric! The saxophone player was the cherry on top, adding a live element that took the entertainment to a whole new level. It was such a unique touch, and it elevated the entire experience for us and our guests.

SCE didn’t just provide music; they created an atmosphere that felt magical. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the perfectly timed entrances to the unforgettable dance party. They truly understood the importance of this day to us and delivered beyond our wildest expectations.

We are so incredibly grateful for everything Chris “DJ O” Obando with the SCE group did to make our day absolutely unforgettable and literally the best night of our lives!!!

From the very first song to the last dance, Chris’s energy and talent set most incredible tone for our celebration. He had EVERYONE on their feet and having the time of their lives! His ability to read the crowd and keep the party going was BEYOND impressive, and we can't thank him enough for that. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about the amazing music and the phenomenal atmosphere he created. So many people (and we mean SOO MANY people) called us after our the wedding just to tell us how incredible he was. They loved the way he seamlessly blended the classics with the upbeat dance tracks, and how he got even the most reluctant dancers out on the floor. Chris played such a crucial role in making our wedding day not just memorable, but an absolute BLAST.

Even from a planning perspective, working with Chris was an absolute joy. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate our requests made the planning process stress free and so much FUN. During one of our planning sessions, we mentioned an idea we had for our first dance and how we were back and forth between the slow version and fast version of our song. Chris did not hesitate to offer him personally creating a mix of both versions for us and within days he delivered a phenomenal mix for us to use. People were so impressed and we received so many compliments on how cool it was. We didn’t even think it was possible to have both versions but Chris took our idea and made it into an epic reality with his mix!!!!

Chris reached out after to thank us for giving him the opportunity to DJ our wedding, even though we were the lucky ones to have him on our special day! From start to finish, Chris made us feel so special before, during and after our special day and we can’t thank him enough for making our wedding dreams a reality. We feel incredibly lucky to have had DJ O as our DJ. Our wedding day was a dream come true, and so much of that is thanks to him! We will continue to recommend him to anyone and everyone.
