Extra Space Storage — Local services in Wall Township

Wait, there's a difference here.

When you need to rent extra storage for your stuff, there's really not much to differentiate one storage place from the next. After all, it's just a big closet you're renting - 4 walls and a door that locks, and you're good, right?

Not so fast.

You also need people you can count on when you need it - and that's where Wall Storage North, and Barbara and her staff come in.

If there's a better manager at a self-storage facility than Barbara, I haven't met her (or him)! I've had multiple storage units in 4 different states over the years (ugh, don't ask) and I've never run into a more personable and efficient manager than Barb. She'll take the time to make sure you understand everything, and makes move-in a breeze. And if something later comes up, she's quick to get on the phone to let you know about it and help work it out.

In short, you're going to be treated RIGHT! The facility is well maintained and clean - unlike others that I looked at before moving in. You can tell they care by the little things they do. NICE hanging flower baskets out front, and a candy dish on the spotless front counter? Yep, you're as welcomed here as you would be walking into someone's home, and you can tell they mean it. I really couldn't be happier with the service here!

If you have ANY hesitation about storing your stuff at Wall Storage North, don't. Do yourself a favor and give them a call, or just drop by to chat with Barb. She's not the pushy-salesy type, so you're not going to be pressured, it's going to be as easy as talking to that nice neighbor lady who lives down the street.

You're going find that even with something as mundane as choosing a storage facility, it's the PEOPLE that make the difference. That's why I'm giving Wall Storage North FIVE...

SEPT 2015 REVIEW: Although the Manager, Barbara, has been more than kind and helpful over the past years I've had my units at Wall Storage North, I now know that the actual product is sub-par. I have been paying for a temperature-controlled unit for 2 years, and upon inspecting my beloved furniture, there was mold and water damage on a table and rugs. When Barbara looked at the unit, she said that she could not find where the water could have possibly come from (and even had the gaul to ask if the furniture was from a house destroyed from Hurricane Sandy!). She stated that the unit is kept at a temperature of 80 degrees F (which seems high), but what is the humidity level? She did not tell me. Then, when I asked for a written statement from her regarding the water damage, she said that there was no burst pipe or leakage...never stating where the water DID come from.

This company is throwing their hands up and are very unhelpful to me. After being with them for about 5 years, I'm shocked that I'm not being helped at all. I can't wait to get my stuff out of there.

SEPT. 2013 REVIEW: I have heard of horror stories when it comes to storage units, but I must admit: this place is beyond my expectations. Why? Because of the service by Manager Barbara. She is kind, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable, and all around lovely. She always responds to emails quickly and is there to help.

The only reason why I gave this place 4/5 stars is because although I have a temperature controlled unit, some of my wooden furniture items have mold on them after 3 years. I'm not quite sure why--hopefully...

I walked into Wall Storage North on Saturday, one hour before closing, in desperation, and frustrated after visiting three other storage facilities. Within 1/2 hour, Barbara, the extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful person that I spoke to there, had helped me decide what I needed, shown me a unit, had all of the paperwork done, and thoroughly checked me out on their access and security procedures. She made me comfortable and confident that I was using the right facility, and being assisted by the right people. The units are clean, the access is easy, the security is excellent, the price is fair, the people there are helpful and knowledgeable, and they saved me a significant amount of money by having a courtesy truck that I could use to transport items to the storage unit. I can not possibly say enough good things about them to repay them for the service and experience that they provided me. My Sincere Thanks again Barbara, and everyone at Wall Storage North, You can be sure that I will personally recommend you to friends, and go out of my way to use your services again in the future.
