What are your real hours????? I have come into your store within your posted hours and nothing is open, hot counter is closed deli is not making Sandwiches and so on. I came in today within your posted hours and the fish, meat, deli, soup and hot counter were closed.
Here the big question: what are your real hours????
I have already spoken to the manager about this. I have heard nothing back. And here I am without dinner because you start to close 2 hour in advance of your posted closing time!!!!
Today Saturday you close at 7:00pm. The girl turned off the heat on the hot table at 4:38pm and all the food was removed by 4:45pm. At least 8 people came in looking for hot food however there was not any because it was clear out 2 hours and 15 minutes before closing time.
Well I came in to purchase dinner on 3/26/24. Greg was the night manager. I came in around 5:50 PM and the hot counter was already being cleaned up. I did come in for dinner as I said the counter was already cleaned up. Manager who turned out to be and I must say this skills suck. He told me we have to clean up that early to get the store closed. So once again, I asked the owner of the store or some manager that has customer rapport to tell me what are your hours per department. This way I can plan my dinner around it because I’ve been told before that you don’t close the counter until after 6 PM. Once again, Greg has no people skills!! He didn’t even seem to care that I was a concerned customer. So I posted this review a while ago, and nobody has answered. Nobody has reached out. I spoke to the manager, gave her my number, but she hasn’t even replied to me. If I could rate the management a zero I would.
This place does not care about!
In fact, during my visit, there was a customer trying to collect dinner off the hot counter As the girl continue to remove the trays and wouldn’t even let him get dinner. As I was sitting in my car trying to calm down from my experience with Gary I noticed two guys get out of to Car Heading to the store to potentially pickll Ooo up dinner And guess what? They walked out with nothing so again I asked the owner the manager whoever what are...
Read moreAlthough I’d known about the Connecticut Fresh Produce Market, I hadn’t shopped there since they moved to the their current location, a couple of years ago. What a drastic, and pleasant change. Although they always had great produce, the old location was a bit cramped and maze-like to wend your way through. This new store is significantly larger, and while still offering great fresh produce, it now has a complete deli section that offers not only fresh cut meats, but hot & cold sandwiches, several in-house made soups daily, in pint and quart sizes. They also now offer catering services. I decided to try three different soups today and a couple of hot sandwiches. Quart sizes of chicken vegetable, beef barley, and turkey rice, were what I chose. I also picked up a steak, cheese, pepper & mushroom sandwich as well as an Italian style sausage & pepper sandwich (it’s also offered “fair style”, with just the peppers & sausage). I now know that I won’t be going to the trouble of making soup at home any longer. The chicken vegetable soup was made in house, and chock full of large pieces of chicken, and big slices of carrots and celery. AND it wasn’t at all salty. Great for those, like me on a salt restricted diet. I’ll most certainly be returning for more soup and an occasional sandwich, as well as to buy my fresh fruits and vegetables...
Read morePrices are high but expected. Their biggest downfall is horrible customer service. I barely saw the cashier her at her register prior to walking up to the belt. As if she was standing out of view intentionally so customers wouldn't come to her. As I was placing my items on the belt she pressed the button to move items forward while my arm was still in the basket...again no eye contact or any form of acknowledgement. Apparently I was infringing upon her flirting session with th the older man with grey hair (manager??). He also didn't care to stop his convo while I checked out Needless to say cashier with the freckles since your name is not on my receipt If you dislike customers so much than ask to stock..you're also making your co workers job harder when you try to avoid having customers at your register. Your body language alone says don't bother me and my whole experience with you was a turn off. I walked in with a postive mindset and walked out feeling a very negative one, and apparently paid for it....When this store was in north haven it was such a better experience. Bigger isnt always better!! Train your staff customer service etiquette, not just how to take money and give change..... Than again seems like there is a leader that isn't showing any respect and the ducks are following suit....
Worse than...
