Crescent Moon Shoppe — Local services in Wallingford

I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review, but I was honestly blown away (and not in a good way) by my experience in this store.

Their store policy is absolutely no returns. Doesn’t matter if I return the item within 24 hours in the exact same brand new condition. NO RETURNS, ever.

They will not give you a paper receipt. Email or text only. So you can’t get proof of buying something for your records unless you want to share private information with them.

I spent over $100 on largeish stones covered with kind of fragile crystals. How were these items that are easily damaged given to me after I bought them? Thrown together into a plastic bag. No box, not even any paper or anything to cushion them. Just large stones banging against each other (which I didn’t realize until I got to my car).

Bottom line: their policies show no respect for the customer. I recently moved to the area and I was excited to discover this store - the closest place to buy crystals and other healing stones - to my new house. But I will never set foot in there again. I don’t need that kind of...

I am an energetic teacher. So I been to a lot of crystal shops in the state of Connecticut even out of state and I never found much I liked hence why I never spent much but HERE! I found the perfect selections for my healing modalities & my jewelry collection. But not much places felt this mystical and inviting as this perfect little shop.
