After more than a year of social distancing my wife and I stepped out and went to lunch. WOW it felt great getting back to normal activities. Went lunch at the Half Moon grille in Wallingford, CT. My wife ordered a pecan chicken salad wrap, I opted for the prosciutto, roasted peppers and mozzarella panini. Service was quick and friendly, the food was just a I remembered, excellent. As people came into the resturant there were loud greetings of welcome back like going to a friends house, very comforting feeling. We each had a choice of chips or pasta salad, we went for the pasta salad, just the right amount and mixed just right. The chicken salad wrap was packed full of tender chicken mixed with pecans, grapes and lettuce, my wife said it was delicious. The prosciutto panini was just perfect thinly sliced prosciutto covered with red roasted peppers (which I claim make a sandwich) and mozzarella cheese, and a little basil. I would recommend stopping in here when you are looking for a great place to enjoy great food and great service.

This was hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My special guy's father is friend's with the owner & we brought family visiting from Italy for dinner. This was my first time trying the food, everything was delicious, portions huge. You can order larger, family style meals several days in advance & it's BYOB (love it). I was very surprised by everything as the outside along with the name of the restaurant doesn't remotely sound like an Italian restaurant. I would definitely take the ride just to eat here again.

The food here is very, very good. Not expensive, and very casual. You order and pay for your food and then find a table. You wait, and then finally a rather inexperienced young server delivers your food to you. I had the Veal Chop Parmigiana and it was fantastic! At $22.95 it was the most expensive item on the whole menu, but it was well worth this price. One of the best things about this restaurant is that it is a BYOB dining establishment. They will even provide your wine glasses. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I have been there many times and the food is good but the employees leave a lot to be desired, snotty and could use training in customer service. The last two times I have gone there, once for take-out and once to eat in, orders were screwed up and they could care less. Three large pizzas were ordered for pickup and upon arrival there were two large and one small. When I told the counter girl that it was supposed to be three large pizzas and that it probably wasn't going to be enough to feed my company I got an "oh well I didn't take the phone call", not were sorry we'd be happy to fix our mistake. My daughter-in-law who came to pickup with me almost fell over. I just got back from dinner today and again after ordering the food and drinks they were brought to the table and again a frozen ice coffee was forgotten. After letting a waitperson know we were finally brought a coffee poured over ice as we were almost finished with the meal, which my husband started drinking as he was really thirsty by then. As he was drinking that another girl behind the counter was calling for whoever ordered the frozen coffee. I went up to the counter and said that I believed that coffee was the one that my husband had ordered but they brought the wrong one to the table and my husband had already started drinking it. The girl was a snot and looked at me like too bad and walked away behind the counter with the coffee. After paying five dollars for a frozen caramel coffee and getting an attitude we promptly left and will probably not be going back there as this was the last straw. I have worked in customer service, an I'm sorry and here is your correct coffee would have been the best response. I can get better customer service at Christos, Dominoes, etc. without an attitude and...

Mixed feelings! Ate here earlier today and sat at a table outside. We ordered three entrees, and our server read all three back to us to confirm that he had them right (which he did). After he went inside, we did not see him again. Two of the entrees came out pretty quickly, and they were absolutely delicious! However, the third entree never came out. We waited about twenty minutes after the other food had come out, and then we mentioned it to a woman bussing tables after she asked us if we needed our check. She acknowledged it and then went back inside. We thought that meant she would let someone know, and we continued waiting. Fifteen minutes later, however, another employee brought us out a check. We informed him that we had never received one of our orders, and he said, “Oh, the server probably just forgot to put it in. Sorry about that.” He did not seem very concerned. We decided to just pay the bill and leave since we had already been sitting there for so long, so we gave him a credit card. We received an app notification that the credit card had been run almost immediately, but it was another eleven minutes before he brought it back. Had really hoped he might take something off the bill or maybe surprise us with the gnocchi to go or something, but nope! Again, the food was really great, but can’t say the same for...
