Doolittle Park — Attraction in Wallingford

This is a lovely park, lots of room to run around & play. Features play areas designated by age appropriateness, slides, swing sets, sand box, see saw etc. Picnic tables and benches available, Porta potty for the little ones. My kids love coming to this park. No fault of the park, but does seem to be a drop of place for pre-teens/teenagers who lay all over the slides & swings taking selfies and fighting and swearing. Very spacious and well kept park. The park is set in a quiet neighborhood, with the YMCA across the street. There are porta-potty’s there too.

It has two baseball fields, basketball, tennis, covered picnic area with plenty of tables, walking trail, and an all ages children’s playground.

This park is on 15.4 acres; it has a baseball field, four tennis courts, and two basketball courts. There is a pavilion with picnic tables on it. Parking lot is ample and there are porta potties. There is also a large playground within it called Wallingford Community Playground. The park looked clean and nicely maintained.
