Just Plain Country Store — Local services in Walnut Cove

We just bought a home about 30 minutes away from the area and we love antiques. Been looking at this place online for a little while and decided to to check it out. First it was a very nice place full of beautiful things in the front. We left before we could get to the back because we were being followed/profiled by an employee. She didn't try and hide it. She was there front and center. Each time i turn around she was there. She was looking at us plain as day. In sure it was because we were black. Honestly who goes to an antique store to steal. What would you do with and old item besides take it home to decorate but whatever. Her following us because we were black. We don't look homeless or helpless. Wonder while small towns are always called racist It goes both ways and we will NEVER return to this store for nothing. Visited this wonderful store while staying in Walnut Cove for a few days. We met a sweet woman named Cathy. She let us know where the restrooms were and that there was more to see downstairs. We shopped around and both my wife and I found a few things that we could not live without. The next day we decided to go back and pick up a couple more things that we eyed the previous day. We once again had spoke with Cathy, whose heart and soul came from God above. We inquired about a sign but we were told that it was not for sale as it was owned by the store. Well lo and behold that sweet woman gifted us that sign. My wife and I both made another purchase and could not be more blessed than to meet Cathy. I just LOVE this store. It has EVERYTHING your looking for and some that you didn't think to look for. The owner Kathy is an absolute angel on earth, a true Christian, and shows it in everything she does.

The prices are very reasonable and Kathy will try her best to get you the best price if she can.

Don't waste your time shopping at all the chain stores. They just have Chinese junk!!! I ALWAYS find what I am looking for at her store, and it's just like eating potato chips, you can't just have one!

I am ABSOLUTELY addicted to this store, and so are MANY more!!!!!!!!
