I love Kobe’s and the food is usually “OK” at this location, and it’s definitely not as good as other Kobe’s locations I’ve been to in multiple states. I typically order teriyaki chicken and rice. The plate usually has a good amount of chicken at other locations I’ve purchased because I get no veggies in my rice just teriyaki chicken and fried rice. At this location I always end up with a plate full of rice with about a ladle scoop worth of chicken on top and light teriyaki.
That’s just way to stingy for the price… rice is a filler, if someone isn’t getting veggies then at least give them a decent amount of chicken maybe 50% rice and 40% chicken sounds more than fair…
I’ve ordered here three times and all three times I was not satisfied… not to mention two of those times you gave my girlfriend that wrong sauce and I gotta hear about it not you… lol.
Just check your food guys… I know it sucks because you shouldn’t have to but I came to find that order mistakes and poor service in the food industry is apparently North Carolinas specialty… funny thing is I moved here because I was intrigued by the idea that this is apparently the biggest barbecue state yet I’ve never been to a single barbecue here and everywhere I eat there is something wrong with my order. I’ve lived in many different states and so far this is the only state that I complain every single time I order because something is always wrong with the order and is always made...
Read moreI.Ordered to go with special instructions.Nothing too technical.Just no carrots and extra vegetables. Well most of what I got was really overcooked zucchini there are a couple pieces of onion no mushrooms But there we're a whole bunch of carrots, So I hate doing it but I sent it back. Sat down outside to watch The Band at the cove. And lo and behold, there were more carrots in it this time. There were 4 pieces of onion and 2 mushrooms and a couple new pieces of zucchini. And broccoli., But then the worst part is you get like five pieces of tofu. Why bother sending it back again? When obviously they can't get it right to begin with or when it got returned the first time.I've seen this in a couple reviews that they are very chincy with the protein portions. They were very busy for the first couple of weeks.Everybody wanted to try it and I might say it was a little better than now. It's beginning to thin out with customers because of the inconsistency. The flies the chincy protein portions. I must say the kids in the front do a wonderful job!! I might give them another shot in a couple weeks if they read some of these reviews and fix some of the problems. Lunch, the veggies are nice and fresh and crisp at night. The vegetables are soggy and have been sitting around all day and usually missing mushrooms and onions by that point in the day. Other than that I'll just go back to eating chinese, And go into the city for some...
Read moreCome on people. If we're going to give a review, do some true analysis of what you recieved. I see alot of 5 stars. Just because its local doesn't mean we shouldn't help them improve by telling them what could be better through an HONEST review.
The food is good. It's par for a privately owned Japanese restaurant however, there's nothing worse than having the expectation of equal or proportionate parts. I had hardly any meat ( 5 small pieces of chicken/ 3 pieces of steak) but it was overloaded with rice.
I asked for extra vegetables. Did not receive them. Not to be petty, but I had 6 pieces onions, 3 slices of zucchini , one dried up mushroom and 6 carrorts which I said I did not want.
I could have fed my entire family on the amount of rice though. I guess I have that going for me.
The price was reasonable. The customer service was exceptional.
The sushi did not disappoint one bit. I wasn't expecting for it to be as good as it was.
In conclusion, don't hold back on the meat. We don't need all the rice. Keep the sushi chief and never let him/her go.
I help this review helps...
